Chapter 478 "You've Been Abandoned by Brady, What Are You Still So Arrogant about?"
In the lobby of the Hall Group building, Violet was getting off work as usual. Just as she reached the door, Lilian blocked her way.
"Violet, are you interested in having a cup of coffee with me? I have something to talk with you."
Violet looked at her and said cautiously, "It seems like there's no reason for us to have coffee together anymore, right?" The DeVere Group went bankrupt, and she was kicked out of the PR department. With Lilian's personality, it was impossible that she was acting like this.
"You know we have nothing left to say. How could I possibly go have coffee with you?" Violet said and was about to leave.
Lilian continued to block her way, and said, "Violet, can't you let me make it up to you? I know we had a lot of misunderstandings before, but now I've figured it out. Besides, my family has long been bankrupt. I can't possibly harm you anymore, right?" As Lilian spoke, her eyes gradually became moist.
She looked very pitiful, as if she was about to cry in the next second.
But Violet was no longer soft-hearted. She didn't buy it. She would never forgive them for Elowen's death.
"If you really figured it out, then stop bothering me. That's the best apology you can give me," Violet said coldly.
This resolute attitude made Lilian very angry inside.
She wished she could slap Violet hard. How dare she be so arrogant after being abandoned by Brady?
Lilian cursed Violet in her heart, she continued to plead in a flattering and gentle manner, "Violet, please give me a chance, okay?I really want to make it up to you."
"Didn't I just say? If you stop bothering me, that's the best apology. If you keep harassing me, don't blame me for calling the police," Violet said.
She really had no patience to waste words with her and she walked straight past her.
Lilian was pushed aside, and the angerexploded. She clenched her fists tightly and glared at Violet as she walked away slowly.
This bitch, abandoned by Brady, How dare she reject her kindness?
Then don't blame her for being ruthless. Did Violet think everything was fine just because she defeated the DeVere family with Brady's help?
Lilian had nothing left now.So when she saw Violet walking forward, she clenched her fists and walked quickly towards her,dragging her towards Oliver's car.
As she grabbed her, her viciousness was exposed. She said harshly, "Violet, you bitch, how dare you reject me? Don't you see your situation now? Abandoned by Brady, what are you still arrogant about? You're just a slut!"
Violet knew she couldn't possibly be sincerely remorseful and began to struggle desperately. "Let go of me, or I'll call for help."
She started shouting, "Help!"
