Chapter 330 Violet Shouldn't Expect Her to Come Over and Apologize

Soon after Leana was admitted, the entire Patton family showed up, especially Mr. Moore, who adored his granddaughter.
Seeing her pale face, blue lips, and bandaged wrists, Mr. Moore felt like his heart was being ripped out. He gently held her hand and asked, "Leana, what happened? How did this happen?"
"Did someone hurt you? If they did, Grandpa will make sure they pay," Mr. Moore said angrily.
"Grandpa," Leana sobbed upon seeing Mr. Moore.
"There, there, don't cry. Just tell Grandpa what happened," he said, wiping her tears.
Mrs. Moore, standing nearby, was also deeply worried. "Leana, tell your grandpa what happened. And why were you at the police station?" It had been too chaotic when the officer brought her in, and she hadn't had a chance to ask.
Now that the officer was gone, Mrs. Moore was desperate for answers.

Mia twisted the story because the police had already given Leana a verbal warning and said they wouldn't file a case against her. Even if Mr. Moore asked, he wouldn't find out much. At most, the police would say it was a misunderstanding.
So Mr. Moore would definitely stand up for Leana, maybe even get Ms. Devereux kicked out.
"Is that so?" Mr. Moore's face darkened, his eyes blazing with anger. "I want that Ms. Devereux out of JK."
"Grandpa, Ms. Devereux is close to Brady. We can't afford to offend her," Leana said, playing the victim.
Mr. Moore wasn't worried. He knew Brady's grandmother and had a good relationship with her. Getting Brady to fire a designer was no big deal.
"Leana, don't worry. Grandpa will take care of this. How dare they do this to you?" Mr. Moore said angrily.
He then instructed the family butler, "Abel, contact Matilda Hall for me. I want to have a word with her."
Abel nodded. "Yes, Mr. Moore, I'll contact Matilda Hall right away."
