Chapter 784 If Brady Wasn't in the Picture, Hellen Prefered Darian as Violet's Husband
"Yeah, I'm back," Darian said warmly, his eyes immediately landing on the two kids clinging to Hellen's legs.
These kids were the spitting image of Brady and Violet.
Especially the boy, who looked like a mini-Brady, right down to the same aura in his eyes.
Darian's expression flickered with something unreadable as he looked at them.
"Good to have you back. No matter how great it is abroad, it's not like Crestoria," Hellen said, feeling positive towards him.
After all, back in the day, when Violet was being bullied, it was he who stood up for her.
But matters of the heart were complicated.
Violet didn't like him.
Honestly, if Brady wasn't in the picture, Darian would have been her ideal choice for Violet's husband.
"Yeah," Darian smiled, suddenly squatting down to look at Henry and Nicole.
His gaze quickly passed over Henry and settled on Nicole, who looked just like Violet.
He stared at her intently.
After a moment, he pulled a lollipop from his suit pocket and offered it to Nicole. "Want some candy?"
Nicole hesitated to take candy from a stranger and looked up at Hellen for permission.
Hellen nodded and said, "Nicole, go ahead."
With Hellen's approval, Nicole happily took the candy and started eating it.
After a bit, she remembered Henry and immediately shared the lollipop with him.
Darian watched her adorable actions, his gaze overlapping her face with Violet's.
His eyes darkened slightly as he gently touched Nicole's cheek. "If you like it, I will bring you more next time."
With that, Darian didn't linger. He had plenty of time to win Violet back.
Standing up, he said, "Hellen, I have some things to take care of. I won't stay any longer."
Hellen nodded, smiling. "Darian, come by whenever you have time."
Darian nodded and turned to leave.
Hellen watched him go, feeling a pang of nostalgia.
The boy from back then had grown into a mature man.
Meanwhile, a flight from Thornwick to New Future City landed on time at the capital airport after a two-hour journey.
As soon as the plane touched down, several black Mercedes cars arranged by the Hall Group lined up outside the terminal.
Ten minutes later, Brady emerged from the VIP passage, holding Violet's hand.
They headed straight for the waiting Rolls-Royce.
Calliope followed closely behind, escorting a sealed Charlotte, and got into one of the Mercedes.
Once everyone was in the cars, they headed directly to the Hall Group headquarters.
Inside the Hall Group, nearly all employees had received notifications from their respective departments that Brady and Violet would be arriving in 15 minutes to hold an internal video conference.
Everyone was required to open their laptops and watch the meeting.
Such a big setup had everyone in the company speculating.
Was the Hall Group about to announce some new policy?
Why else would the entire company need to join a video conference?
And why was Violet hosting it?
What was going on?
Everyone was dying of curiosity.
But no one could guess what it was about.
All they could do was sit nervously at their desks, laptops open, waiting for Violet to start the internal meeting.
After a tense 15 minutes, the company's internal video interface finally lit up.
Almost simultaneously, all employees stared curiously at their screens, eager to see what kind of meeting Violet was going to hold.
To their surprise, the screen didn't show Violet's face.
Instead, it was the somewhat disheveled face of Charlotte, a newcomer to the PR department.
Everyone was shocked and even more curious.
What on earth was this meeting about?
