Chapter 59 His mouth didn't taste like alcohol; it had a very clean and refreshing flavor.
Violet never thought that a man like Brady would forcefully kiss her.
And it happened outside Emily's house! Violet wondered if Brady had been drinking tonight, otherwise, why would he do such a thing?
Didn't he dislike her the most? But that kiss was so real, so real that Violet was almost suffocated and her mind became muddled because of it.
Moreover, in their entanglement, she clearly felt that he wasn't drunk. His mouth didn't taste like alcohol, it had a very clean and refreshing flavor.
So, he hadn't been drinking? Then why did he kiss her? And even say he wanted to buy her for a night?
Violet's remaining sanity gradually awakened her, and she started to feel disgusted. Even if this man was the CEO of the Hall family company, so what?
Or even if he was someone she used to like? Did he have her consent to forcefully kiss her now?
Violet forcefully pushed away the man who was kissing her deeply.
Looking at the man in front of her, Violet didn't hesitate to give him a slap. "Mr. Hall, please behave yourself. And let me say it again, I am not for sale."
With the slap delivered and her words spoken, Violet picked up her bag and walked towards the elevator without looking back.
Brady didn't chase after her. Instead, he calmly touched his face where she had slapped him, his eyes filled with a deep and intense emotion.
This woman was truly audacious. She dared to hit him?
Brady watched her slender figure enter the elevator without saying a word.
After a long while, he finally looked away. The strange thoughts just now were terrifying. Brady was a man who had seen big scenes before, and as he returned to his apartment, he gradually calmed down.
He was a bit reckless tonight.
How could he be so crazy?
He actually wanted to have her?
Brady squinted his dark eyes as he looked out of the spacious floor-to-ceiling window at the pitch-black night.
He felt somewhat exhausted and unbuttoned his white shirt collar.
Did he truly want this woman, or was there another reason?
None of that mattered.
Since she had schemed against him a year ago, he wanted to make her accompany him. She shouldn't be unwilling, right?
Or perhaps it was a strategy of tantalizing and capturing?
But she refused to admit it?
Brady closed his eyes heavily, deciding not to dwell on this matter.
But damn it... he was actually a bit infatuated with the taste of her cherry-flavored lips.
Soft and sweet.
His previously calm and rational mind once again collapsed.
Brady raised his hand to massage his temple, forgetting about his rationality.
He was at an age where he needed a woman.
Even if this woman had schemed against him.
Then he took out his phone from his pocket and called his assistant, Linda, instructing her to draft an agreement. He wanted Violet to be his lover.
He would pay her an allowance of one million every month.
Considering Violet had been a pampered rich girl who now faced hardships, she surely wouldn't refuse, right?
After giving instructions on the phone, Brady went to take a shower.
On the other side, Violet returned home in a state of shock. Hellen opened the door for her.
Seeing her troubled expression, Hellen thought something was wrong and asked concernedly, "Violet, why do you look so pale? What happened? Didn't you meet Emily?"
"I did, I'm fine... I almost tripped on my way back, so that's why I look a bit off." Violet patted her face, pretending to be calm as she looked at Hellen.
"It's good that you're okay. Be careful when you walk."
"Yeah, I'll be careful." Violet changed into her indoor slippers and glanced at the living room, not seeing the kids. She then asked Hellen, "Hellen, where are the babies?"
"They're both asleep." Hellen went to the kitchen to pour her a glass of water. "Have some water."
"Thank you, Hellen."
Violet took the glass and sipped, trying to calm down from the shock of what had just happened.
"It's getting late. Go take a shower and rest early," she said.
Violet was actually thinking of taking a shower to ease the remaining shock. "Okay," she replied.
Tonight, was really unexpected.
