Chapter 562 Brady, You Must Be Okay, Otherwise the Baby and I Will Never Forgive You
Violet continued to use her scarf to cover herself for a while. After confirming that Arthur was no longer looking her way, she gently exhaled and said to Calliope, who was having breakfast, "Calliope, let's hurry up and eat. Arthur might have seen me."
Calliope immediately looked over at Arthur and Brady in surprise. They weren't looking their way, and there was quite a distance between their tables, so they probably hadn't seen them.
"Ms. Devereux, they can't see us, right? There are about seven or eight tables between us," Calliope said.
Violet decided to speed up her breakfast. "He glanced at me just now. I turned quickly, so he didn't keep looking. I'm afraid if they finish eating first and pass by here, they'll see us."
"Got it, let's finish quickly then." Calliope nodded.
Violet and Calliope quickly finished their breakfast. Once they were almost full, they grabbed their things to leave the restaurant.
Outside the restaurant, Calliope checked the time and glanced at Brady and Arthur. "Ms. Devereux, you should go back to your room. I plan to stay here and follow Brady and Arthur."
Violet still wanted to see Brady, so she bit her lip and said to Calliope, "Calliope, I want to see him again. I won't interfere with your work or cause any trouble. I'll just hide and watch him from a distance."
Violet knew she was pregnant, and if she followed him, it would definitely distract him.
So she decided to stay put and wait for Calliope to help.
She would only step in if Calliope encountered danger or other issues.
"Alright, Ms. Devereux, but just watch Brady, okay? I need to ensure your safety. If Brady finds out, he'll definitely be concerned," Calliope said earnestly.
"Got it, I'll just hide and take a few more glances," Violet said. She really hadn't seen enough earlier.
"Let's hide over there." Calliope pointed to a cake shop.
The cake shop had windows that blocked the view, so unless someone outside looked very carefully, they wouldn't notice the people inside.
So Calliope felt safe bringing Violet to this place.
About five minutes later, Brady and Arthur finally came out, discussing something as they walked. They didn't pay any attention to the two women watching them from the cake shop.
It wasn't until the two men reached the elevator doors that Violet's heart was extremely tense. She kept her eyes fixed on Brady's profile.
Violet thought, 'Brady, you must be safe. Otherwise, the baby and I will never forgive you!'
"Ms. Devereux, they're gone. I should go too. You must stay in the hotel and not go anywhere, you got it?" As Brady and Arthur took the elevator, Calliope immediately stood up to follow them.
Violet understood. "Be careful."
Calliope nodded. "Don't worry, I got this. Ms. Devereux, I'm leaving now." With that, she quickly walked to the elevator and started pressing the button.
Violet sat in the cake shop chair, worrying about Brady.
