Chapter 223 This Man Can Not Be Easily Deceived
After Brady accompanied Violet back to the ward, he briefly stayed with Henry and Nicole, eating some oranges before receiving a call. He then left in a hurry.
As soon as he left, Violet let out a sigh of relief. She immediately turned to Henry, who was eating oranges, and said, "Henry, when he is around in the future, don't call me 'mom,' okay?"
Henry didn't understand, but he would do whatever his mom told him to do.
Henry obediently nodded, and his little sister also nodded.
Violet felt relieved at the sight of the obedient look of her two kids. She sat on the edge of the hospital bed, gently massaging her temples. She had been really nervous just now.
If it were not for the fact that Henry was highly intellectual, their secret would have been exposed. It was truly dangerous.
Hellen shared the same view and thought it would be risky if the same thing happened again. "Violet, when are you planning to resign?"
"Soon, maybe within this week." Once she finished making clothes for Lady Hall, she could resign.
"That's good." Hellen was relieved and calmed herself down a bit. "Violet, take care of the house issue. I've already asked a real estate agent to put our house up for sale."
"You need to find a new house as soon as possible so that we can move out early."
Violet didn't expect Hellen to act so quickly. "How come you gave the house to the real estate agent so soon?"
"Don't you fear encountering Mr. Hall again? That man is not easily fooled, and we are not his match." Although Hellen had only interacted with Brady a few times, that was enough for her to reach such a conclusion.
It wasn't surprising that a man like him could possess billions in assets. Without that level of strength, it wouldn't be possible.
"Hellen, I will go find Emily Hart tomorrow when I'm discharged. She promised to help me find a rental house." She thought it would be easy for her to find a desirable house with Emily's help.
"Alright, you rest for now. I will bring you some porridge. I cooked it at home." Hellen nodded, then went to retrieve the bowl of porridge she had brought. She poured it into a small bowl for Violet to eat.
While Violet was eating the porridge, Hellen took care of the two kids.
Today, they had eaten too much fruit.
Hellen was afraid that they might not eat their complementary food later.
But fortunately, they didn't refuse to eat, and they just ate less.
Tonight, Violet had to stay here, but she didn't want the two little kids to stay overnight with her. So she let Hellen take them back home first.
However, the two little kids clung to her and didn't want to go back, so she had no choice but to let Hellen accompany them to sleep in the bed next to hers.
It was a peaceful night. Nothing else happened. The night passed, and dawn arrived.
Violet had a good sleep and woke up without any discomfort. She got up early and asked Hellen to handle her discharge procedures. After completing the procedures, Hellen took the two kids home with her.
There was no place to shower at the hospital, so the two little kids went to bed without taking a shower last night. When they arrived at Hellen's apartment, Violet bathed them first. That done, she dressed them up and called Emily. She made an appointment with Emily to inspect the houses for rent.
Emily agreed to meet her around 7 pm to go to see houses together. Violet hung up the phone, changed her clothes, put on some makeup, and prepared to go to work.
However, she received a call from Max before leaving. Loraine was going to hold a press conference with the informant today, and she wanted Violet to attend, so he offered to give her a ride. Violet felt a bit nervous when she thought about being in front of the camera. But Violet thought that if this matter could be settled quickly, the nervousness would be nothing. Therefore, she immediately adjusted her mindset and prepared to go to JK.
