Chapter 546 We're Getting Married, Should We Consider Having Another Kid?
"I'll be on a business trip for a few days this weekend. Take good care of yourself." Going to Radiantia was too dangerous, and Brady didn't plan to tell her. He would inform her once he had everything handled.
"Got it, where are you going for the trip?"
"It's company confidential, so I can't tell you," Brady pinched her soft cheek and said dotingly.
Violet pretended to be dissatisfied. "So secretive, huh?"
"It's work-related stuff, you wouldn't understand. If you're interested, I'll tell you later." Brady withdrew his fingers and glanced at his watch. It was almost time to leave.
"Shall we have dinner together before you go back?" Brady asked.
Violet had no objections. She packed her bag and said, "What happened at your home yesterday? I even had Henry and Nicole bathed and ready to video call you! They haven't seen you in a long time and miss you a lot."
Mentioning the two kids made Brady feel deeply guilty. "Sorry, something came up last night. Once I handle everything, we'll be together forever."
Violet nodded. She also wanted to be with him forever.
But given the situation with their families, she wasn't sure if they could be together smoothly.
As Violet walked out of JK with him, she asked, "Brady, do you really want to marry me?"
"Isn't that a silly question?" Brady replied.
"Hellen and your mom don't seem to approve." Violet sighed slightly.
"Those aren't issues. The most important thing is whether you love me and are willing to marry me and start a family together." Brady was never the type to judge whether to marry someone based on family background.
In his view, if he recognized a woman, he would put all his effort into marrying her.
"Violet, marriage is indeed a matter of two families, but it's more about us, right? As long as we love each other, nothing else matters." Brady continued.
Violet nodded silently.
She had already felt Brady's sincere love for her. He was a man worth entrusting her life to.
But Violet was caught in extreme conflict, wanting the child but unable to give up her increasingly successful career.
"Brady, do you really like kids?" Violet suddenly asked Brady beside her.
Brady smiled. "I do." When he was single, he didn't have much concept of kids.
But ever since he knew about Henry and Nicole, his life had undergone a dramatic change, as if a light had illuminated his entire existence.
It made him realize that in this world, there were two children who shared his blood.
It also made him understand that as a man and a father, he had more responsibilities.
"Got it." It seemed he really liked kids. Violet felt even more conflicted.
"Why did you suddenly ask me that?" Brady inquired.
"Just asking. I saw you always wanting to see Henry and Nicole, so I asked." Violet hastily made up a reason.
"I thought you were going to surprise me, like telling me you're pregnant again." Brady joked.
Violet felt a chill down her spine.
"Of course not, I'm not pregnant." Violet gently touched her cheek and smiled awkwardly.
"But since we're getting married, have you considered having another child?" Although Brady had mentioned it casually, now that he had brought it up, he was seriously considering it.
