Chapter 489 No Matter How Far Your Relationship Has Progressed, You Must Leave My Son
After returning from the hotel, Violet didn't pay much attention to Elliot. She casually tossed the business card into her bag and went on with her day.
Time flew by, and soon it was afternoon.
Ava came to the Hall Group to find Calliope.
Since Calliope and Brady made their relationship public, Brady had arranged for her to work in the public relations department, taking over Lilian's previous position.
When Ava arrived, shewent straight to the public relations department instead. She had to talk to Calliope; otherwise, she would unable to vent her frustration.
Ava quickly reached the public relations department. Some newcomers didn't recognize her as Brady's mother and tried to stop her from going in.
The head of the public relations department hurried out. Seeing Ava, he bowed apologetically. "What brings you to our public relations department?"
Ava quickly said, "I'm here to see Calliope. Is she here?"
"Yes, I'll call her." The head quickly invited Ava to the guest lounge. "Ava, please have a seat. I'll call her over."
Ava responded and went to the guest lounge.
As soon as she left, the young employees gathered around the head and asked, "Who is she?"
"Behave yourself from now. She is Mr. Hall's mother."
The young employees were shocked. They had just tried to stop her. They wondered if Brady would fire them.
"Alright, Ava is not that petty. Get back to work," the head said.
With that reassurance, they quickly returned to their tasks.
The head then went to call Calliope to the guest lounge.
Calliope knew Ava would come to see her one day, but she didn't expect it to be so soon. Before heading to the guest lounge, she sent a text message to Brady, asking him to come and help. She was afraid she couldn't handle Ava on her own.
After sending the message, Calliope jogged to the guest lounge.
Inside the guest lounge, Ava was elegantly sipping coffee on the sofa. Despite her calm demeanor, her strong presence made Calliope feel intimidated.
Indeed, Ava was not someone to be trifled with.
"Calliope, come here," Ava commanded.
Calliope walked over and sat on a sofa in front of her. "Aunt Brown."
"Calliope, we're practically family, so I'll get straight to the point. Is it true that you're dating Brady?" Ava asked directly.
"It's true," Calliope replied, not daring to look her in the eye because of her intense gaze.
Even though she had been through various harsh environments, she was still afraid of Ava.
"Really?" Ava immediately smiled. "Calliope, the Hall Family raised you. You should know how to repay kindness, not seek revenge."
"Aunt Brown, I'm not seeking revenge," Calliope said, pressing her lips together.
"You're not seeking revenge? You should know that Brady's wife can't be an ordinary girl, yet you secretly got involved with him. I don't know what means you used to seduce him, but one thing is certain: no matter what, I will never agree to this. Furthermore, no matter what stage your relationship is at, you must leave Brady," Ava said coldly.
Ava's words were icy, and Calliope fell silent.
She was about to say something when Brady finally arrived. He went straight to the guest lounge and pushed the door.
