"Ms. Devereux, please sign for this package." The courier quickly handed her the delivery slip and continued, "Oh, and there's also a valuable item. Please sign for that as well."
The courier carefully took a small box from his bag and handed it to Violet.
He didn't dare look at it, fearing he couldn't afford to lose it.
"What is this?" Violet quickly signed her name, and asked curiously.
"I don't know either. We can't open customers' packages at will." The courier, having completed his task, didn't linger.

"Thank you." Violet then opened the blue velvet box.
Inside was a light yellow square diamond ring.
The ring had excellent color and texture.
Judging by its size, it must be worth at least a million dollars.
Violet was momentarily shocked. Could this be something Brady specifically bought for her?
He sure knew how to please a girl.
Giving her such an expensive gift right off the bat, but she wouldn't agree to him so easily.
So she planned to return it to him later.
"Violet, who sent this?" Hellen noticed her unusual expression. Normally, she would reject gifts from others, but this time was different.
She was smiling.
Hellen knew her too well.
She was afraid Violet was secretly seeing Brady again.
"Violet, tell me, who sent this?"
Violet stuffed the ring box into her pocket, and lied, "Maybe it's from someone who admires me. I'll return it to him tonight."
Hellen didn't believe her at all, and angrily saying, "Was it Brady?"
Violet panicked and quickly replied, "Of course not. I haven't been in contact with him."
"Violet, it's not that I don't trust you. I'm doing this for your own good. You need to consider the gap between you and him, and your child. Do you really think he will marry you? What will happen to the child then?"
If Brady sincerely wanted to marry Violet, she had no objections.
What worried her was the Hall family behind him.
She was just thinking long-term, for Violet's sake.
"Hellen, You don't need to worry." Violet wanted to reassure her.
Once she and Brady reconciled, they would find a way to convince Hellen together because she believed Brady truly loved her.
Brady was willing to do so much for her. Any other man would have given up on her long ago.
So why shouldn't she believe that this man would love and protect her for a lifetime?
"Got it, I won't say more. Just don't date him." Hellen felt it was pointless to say more, and went inside to check on Henry and Nicole.
After Hellen left, Violet felt a bit helpless. If Hellen knew she had already leaned towards Brady, she would definitely be furious.
