Chapter 712 Hurry Up and Leave
"What's up?"
Violet snuggled closer to him and said, "Today, I took Ethan and the kids back to Eldoria. When they saw the plane, they wanted to ride one too. When you're done with work, can you take them on a plane ride?"
"That's an easy one," Brady said, ruffling her long hair with a smile.
"So, when I kissed you earlier, it wasn't because I had any ulterior motives."
Brady continued to smile indulgently. "I know." Then, taking advantage of the fact that everyone wasn't paying attention, he pressed Violet against the wall and kissed her passionately.
The kiss made Violet's face flush, and her heart pounded. Why did he always act so unpredictably?
But she had to admit, she liked his kisses now.
They were gentle yet domineering, tender yet intense.
They made her shiver all over and her heart race.
After what felt like an eternity, Violet, feeling a fire igniting within her, couldn't help but pinch his waist and said softly, "Honey, stop kissing me. I can't take it anymore."
She was worried that her strong reaction might affect the baby in her belly.
So she quickly stopped his intense kiss.
"Why? What can't you take?" Brady never missed a chance to tease her.
Knowing she was feeling flustered, he deliberately blew a warm breath near her ear, letting it brush against her eardrum.
He asked slowly, his voice magnetic.
"Are you pretending not to know?" Violet blushed and playfully punched his chest.
But his chest was so firm that after a few punches, he didn't feel much, like she was just tickling him, while her wrist started to hurt.
"I don't know. Tell me, what can't you take? Hmm?" Brady continued to tease her on purpose.
Violet wasn't falling for it.
She raised her pretty, flushed face and looked at him with bright, watery eyes. "Whatever you can't take, I can't either."
Her words were a strong comeback.
Brady's lips curled into a smile, ready to kiss her again.
Just then, their two kids appeared out of nowhere.
Seeing Brady pinning Violet against the wall and kissing her, Nicole, being shy, covered her eyes in embarrassment.
Henry, braver, pointed at Brady and said, "Dad, you're shameless, kissing Mom!"
Brady was helpless.
Kissing Violet was his legal right.
"Even Henry thinks you're shameless. Move aside," Violet said, pushing Brady away and taking Henry and Nicole towards the living room.
Brady watched the three of them with a mix of helplessness and affection.
He wanted to make love to her.
But he had to wait a few more months.
That night, after putting the two little ones to bed in the children's room, Brady returned to their bedroom.
Violet was in the bedroom, preparing towels for a bath.
Seeing him come in, she said, "I'll take a bath first. I've already put your towel on the bed. You can come in after I'm done."
There were plenty of bathrooms in the house, but Brady preferred to use the one in their bedroom.
He didn't like going to the other rooms.
Brady closed the door and started unbuttoning his shirt.
After undoing three buttons, the shirt opened up, revealing his muscular chest under the warm light.
He was deliberately tempting her.
As Violet was about to head to the bathroom with her towel, she caught a glimpse of him and blushed again.
But she managed to hold back, quickly averting her gaze and heading to the bathroom to take a shower.
Brady stood there for a moment, thinking, and then decided to take off his shirt, revealing his toned upper body.
He followed Violet into the bathroom.
It had been a long time since they had bathed together.
Tonight, he was going to take good care of her.
