Chapter 347 I Haven't Seen Any Gossip Online About His Children
"Thanks for the gift," Hellen said, happily taking the voucher after Violet gave the nod.
"No problem, it's your lucky day," Taylor replied, relieved Hellen accepted it. He'd been worried she might refuse, because then, Brady would think he hadn't done his job right.
"Still, thanks," Hellen said, then started packing some necessities for Henry and Nicole before heading out: bottles, water flasks, diapers, some small cookies, and wet wipes.
With everything ready, Hellen planned to catch a cab. Suddenly, she remembered Brady's suggestion from their last evening walk. She went back to the living room, found the safety straps, put them on the babies' wrists, and attached the other ends to her wrist. This way, she could keep them from getting lost in crowded places.
Once set, Hellen took them outside to hail a cab. Taylor followed in his car. After they got into a taxi, he called Brady to report that the kids were on their way to the shopping center.
At that moment, Brady was still hard at work. The moment he received Taylor's call, without a second thought, he dropped his files, grabbed his car keys, and drove to the Hall Group's shopping center.
In just 20 minutes, his black Bentley glided into the shopping center's underground parking lot. Brady got out and headed straight for the elevator.
When Brady arrived at the children's section on the 5th floor, he stepped out and settled into the VIP reception area.
His sudden appearance caused the female sales assistants to light up like Christmas trees. They'd all heard of Brady—wealthy, handsome, well-built, with a strong background, and only 28 years old.
But seeing him in person was a different experience altogether. They all thought he was even more handsome than the rumors suggested. He could easily pass for a movie star. Brady's physique was impressive, with long legs and a height of about 6'2" or 6'3". He looked like he had stepped out of a TV show, too dreamy to be real.
The female sales assistants couldn't help but swoon over him. Amidst their swooning, they gossiped with some confusion. "Mr. Hall is so handsome and young! But why would he suddenly come to our children's section?"
"Do you think Mr. Hall is secretly married with kids? Otherwise, why would an important CEO like him have the time to come here?" someone whispered.
"No way, I haven't seen any gossip online about Brady getting married! Nor have I heard about him having any children."
"I don't think it's possible either. Young CEOs like him wouldn't get married so early, at least not before 30. He's probably buying things for a relative's child!"
"I think so too, he must be shopping for a relative's child."
"But Mr. Hall has been sitting here for three minutes and hasn't asked anyone to get the children's items he wants?"
"Maybe he's waiting for his relatives?"
"Maybe."
As the pretty sales assistants gossiped, Hellen arrived at the children's section with Henry and Nicole, holding the gift card.
Taylor followed closely behind, enthusiastically pointing out the items he was interested in.
Hellen, clutched the voucher tightly, glancing around nervously. The clothes here looked very expensive. Fortunately, she had the voucher; otherwise, she wouldn't dare to buy anything here. Everything was too pricey.
"Mrs. Patton, you can check over there," Taylor said warmly, pointing her towards the VIP area where Brady was sitting.
Hellen smiled at him. "Thanks, Mr. Taylor. I'll take my time with the kids."
Taylor didn't insist. "Alright, take your time. Make sure to use up all the money in the gift card; otherwise, it will go to waste."
As Hellen began browsing with the children, Taylor made his way to the VIP area to meet Brady.
Hellen took Henry and Nicole to another section. She saw a store selling autumn children's sweaters in beautiful colors and quickly led the little ones there.
However, as soon as they entered, the young sales assistant gave them a disdainful look, clearly uninterested in serving them due to Hellen's simple, modest attire.
