Chapter 646 Followe the Cab

The taxi carrying Violet finally pulled up in front of the swanky hotel where Ethan was staying.

As soon as the car stopped, Violet hopped out.

Feeling a bit guilty, she glanced around to make sure no familiar faces were nearby before taking a deep breath and hurrying inside to find Ethan.

After this tour, if he asked for anything else, she definitely wouldn't agree.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, Violet spotted Ethan lounging in the seating area. He was tall and dressed casually in athletic wear, looking quite handsome and energetic.

For a moment, Violet thought she saw a hint of her husband in him.

But then she remembered Brady, and a shiver ran down her spine. No matter how handsome Ethan was, he couldn't compare to her husband.

She quickly shook her head to clear away those distracting thoughts.

As she walked towards him, Ethan waved, "Hey, Violet, over here."

Violet continued to walk briskly, and when she got closer, she made sure to clarify, "It's Mrs. Patton, actually. I'd appreciate if you'd remember that."

Ethan understood her intentions and smiled faintly, his admiration for her growing. "I know, but you look very young."

He couldn't quite understand why he was so interested in a married woman like her. Normally, he would never cross that line.

Meeting Violet during his trip back home was a complete surprise.

"I'm not young anymore," Violet said, trying to avoid any misunderstandings. "Mr. Lawson, shall we get going? I need to be with my kids this afternoon."

She spoke hurriedly.

Ethan chuckled, "You don't need to remind me in every sentence that you're married with kids. I get it."

If he understood, why did he still speak so ambiguously? Violet couldn't figure it out.

But Ethan was from abroad, so maybe his thinking was different from people in Crestoria?

Violet decided not to say more.

"Let's go," Ethan said, glancing at her before striding towards the elevator on the side of the lobby.

Violet followed, feeling a mix of curiosity and nervousness. "Aren't we going out? Why are you heading upstairs?"

"I rented a car; it's in the underground garage," Ethan explained, not fond of taking taxis.

He disliked the mixed smells inside taxis, which were used by many people.

Violet understood. "Alright."

She had thought they would take a taxi together.

They entered the elevator, and Ethan pressed the button for the underground garage.

The elevator doors closed.

Brady walked in from outside and saw Violet entering the elevator with another man.

He quickly approached and checked the elevator display.

It was going to the basement level.

The parking garage?

It seemed his wife was hiding something from him.

Brady stood by the elevator for a moment before heading to the front desk. "Who was the man that just entered the elevator?"

The receptionist recognized Brady, as the hotel was invested in by the Hall Group.

She didn't hesitate to show Brady Ethan's check-in information. Brady's brows furrowed deeply as he read it.

Ethan seemed to be quite a catch.

"Does he have a car in Crestoria?" Brady asked.

The receptionist shook her head. "He asked the hotel to rent a car for him last night. This is the license plate number."

"Got it," Brady said, heading outside.

He got into his car, closed the door, and waited angrily for Ethan's car to emerge.
