Chapter 529 Did Brady Go Take a Shower or Something?
"Matilda, they're still young. Let's give them the money in the future," Violet quickly said.
Matilda, heard Violet and decided not to argue with Hellen. She said, "Got it, let's go with Violet's suggestion. I'll give it to them all at once when they're a bit older."
"Okay." Violet nodded.
Hellen's face remained sullen.
Matilda continued playing with Henry and Nicole for a while.
As she exited the mansion, Henry and Nicole ran out, clinging to her and calling her affectionately.
Matilda's heart melted instantly. These two children were truly angels, the best gifts God had given the Hall family.
Reluctantly, she patted their little heads before getting into her car.
However, Ava, who had come to the Brady mansion to tidy up, witnessed the entire scene.
Ava's sharp eyes instantly turned cold.
Could those two children be Violet's? How could she have children that old?
And were these children Brady's?
Thinking of this, Ava immediatelycalled her assistant to check the matter of the children.
Soon, night fell. Hellen went to the kitchen to make dinner, and Violet tidied up the living room while watching cartoons with the kids.
Emily came home, upon seeing the large bouquet of roses, exclaimed, "Violet, who sent these roses?"
"An admirer. I'm going to return them later." Violetwinked at Emily.
She didn't want Hellen to know they were from Brady.
"Could it be from that guy you went on a date with?" Emily asked.
Violet glanced towards the kitchen again and said, "No, it's from a colleague at my company."
Emily played along. "Of course, a beautiful woman like you has many admirers."
"Emily, can you watch the kids for a bit? I need to return the flowers," Violet said.
Emily agreed but was curious about who sent the flowers, so she whispered, "Did Brady send these?"
Violet nodded. "So please watch the kids for me while I return the flowers."
Emily whispered, "Are you really going to break up with him?"
Violet, leaned close to Emily's ear and smiled. "No, I'm not breaking up with him. But he made me angry recently, so I'm punishing him. Otherwise, it would be too easy for him."
Emily laughed. "Violet, you finally understand."
She knew Violet wouldn't let Brady go!
"Because he's really good to me," Violet said.
Emily waved her hand. "Got it, go ahead. I'll watch the kids."
"Thank you," Violet said gratefully, kissing Emily on the cheek. She quickly changed her shoes and, called out towards the kitchen, "Hellen, I'm going to return the flowers to my colleague."
Hellen glanced back at her, just nodded.
Only then did Violet take the flowers to find Brady.
However, Violet wasn't sure if Brady had come home from work. She had blocked his number and hadn't planned to unblock it yet.
So she could only rely on luck.
She rang the doorbell a few times, and a maid came to open the door.
"May I ask who you are?" The maiddidn't recognize Violet.
Violet glanced into the empty living room. Was he not home? "Is Mr. Hall home? I need to return these flowers and the ring to him."
"Mr. Hall is working upstairs. Please wait a moment," the maid said, and went to inform him.
Violet stood at the door waiting.
Originally, Violet thought it would take about one or two minutes for him to come down.
But she ended up waiting for a full half hour.
And when Brady came down, the sight of him made Violet blushed.
Had Brady taken a shower?
Wasn't he supposed to be working upstairs?
Why did he come down looking like he had just showered, wearing black pajamas with the edges deliberately half-open, revealing his firm abs?
