Chapter 1051 Violet, do you believe that I have the ability to make Brady come to me voluntarily?
The conversation had reached a boiling point.
Aria, realizing Violet had caught on, smirked and said, "Violet, I get why Brady likes you."
They were similar in many ways.
Smart and skilled in psychological tactics.
"So, don't waste your time chasing something that isn't yours. After all, he's a father of three," Violet said calmly.
Aria scoffed, "So what if he has three kids? Violet..." She dropped the formalities, "You seem a bit naive. Some men aren't meant to be with one woman forever, especially guys like Brady who are rich and powerful."
"You might be newlyweds now, but what about a year from now? Two years? Can you guarantee he won't get tired of you?"
"The truth is, Violet... men do get bored. There are so many temptations out there, younger and prettier girls. No matter how beautiful a wife is, she can't compete with the allure of something new. Do you get it?"
Violet's face darkened, her eyes narrowing. "Aria, you don't need to worry about my future. Just know that he's my husband now, and you can't take him away."
Aria wasn't fazed. She had been holding back her frustration for a while. Even if she couldn't win Brady over right now, she didn't want to lose to someone like Violet.
"Men aren't something you can steal, Violet. Believe me, I can make Brady come to me willingly," Aria said with a smug smile, her eyes gleaming with venomous confidence.
This smile made Violet lose her composure. She grabbed the bowl of soup from the table and threw it in Aria's face.
The soup wasn't hot, but it was warm enough to make Aria's face flush. It was also salty, with bits of vegetables clinging to her eyelashes and lips, making her look quite a mess.
Just then, Brady walked over, his eyes darkening as he looked at the two women. Aria, seeing Brady, quickly grabbed a napkin from the table and began to wipe her face, saying sweetly, "Brady, I'm sorry for upsetting Violet."
"What happened?" Brady asked, placing a yogurt in front of Violet.
"Nothing," Violet replied, having lost her appetite.
She quietly watched Aria wipe the vegetables off her face, feeling a pang of regret for her impulsive action, which seemed to give Aria the upper hand.
But then she reconsidered. Wasn't it justified? A woman who openly challenged her and tried to seduce her husband deserved a bit of retaliation. Why should she treat her kindly?
With this thought, Violet's regret vanished.
However, her outburst had caught the attention of the female employees in the restaurant, who began whispering among themselves, "What just happened? Why did Violet throw soup at that girl?"
"I don't know. Who is that girl anyway?"
"Not sure, but she must know Brady and Violet if she's sitting with them."
"But Violet usually seems so gentle. She doesn't seem like the type to throw soup at someone."
"I'm dying to know what happened. Did that girl do something to upset Violet?"
"What could she have done to make Violet throw soup at her?"
"I don't know. Let's find out later. For now, let's eat."
The female employees resumed their meal, their curiosity piqued.
Violet had no desire to deal with Aria any longer. She stood up and said to Brady, "I'm full. I'm going back."
Brady glanced at the disheveled Aria, then at Violet.
In the end, he chose to leave the restaurant with Violet.
