Chapter 60 Feeling something warm and hot on her cheeks
Taking a shower didn't take much time. After 20 minutes, Violet changed into a clean set of pajamas and returned to her own bedroom to sleep.
And her precious ones were already sleeping soundly, curled up like two little balls of fur.
Violet approached them cautiously, gently planting a kiss on their faces, then laid down at their side, gently embracing them as they slept.
These two little darlings and Hellen were the only ones in her life, and she absolutely couldn't let Brady know of their existence.
But for some reason, maybe because of that unexpected forceful kiss tonight, Violet found it difficult to fall asleep.
Her mind was filled with Brady's handsome yet indifferent face, and the touch of his slightly cool but soft lips.
Violet knew she shouldn't dwell on these thoughts.
Because Brady didn't love her; he just wanted to toy with her.
How could she still have the audacity to recall such things?
She really must be going crazy.
After scolding herself mentally, Violet closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep, holding her two little darlings.
Morning came.
Violet didn't dream of Brady. When she woke up, before even opening her eyelids, she felt something warm and hot kissing her cheeks.
And the kisses didn't stop.
There was even some drool involved.
Violet immediately opened her eyes and saw that her two little darlings were awake. They were both lying on either side of her, using their little mouths to kiss her face, nose, and eyes.
Especially Henry, he was energetically showering her with kisses.
Her face was covered in drool from all the kisses.
Nicole, on the other hand, was very well-behaved. When she imitated her brother's kisses, she wasn't as exaggerated.
She gently kissed her, just like a little princess.
Violet was overwhelmed by the kisses from her two children, laughing, "You two little troublemakers."
"Mama, mama, mama... not... not," Henry said anxiously when he heard Violet call them troublemakers. He shook his little head, explaining to his mom that he and his sister were not troublemakers.
His sister wasn't either.
Violet was surprised to hear him say "not" and pronounce it so clearly.
She was stunned, looking at her precious son with some astonishment.
Wasn't it supposed to be around two years old when children started speaking?
How could her Henry already say that?
Violet was amazed.
Though, it seemed like Henry developed earlier than Nicole in everything.
Typically, girls were said to develop early and speak early, but Henry excelled in everything compared to Nicole.
Whether it was taking the first steps or uttering the first "mom," Henry's progress was remarkable.
