Chapter 884 When Starting Over Again, Do Not Encounter Violet

"You're out of your mind. You think I'm gonna listen to your crap anymore?" Brady snapped, turning away to head back to Violet, leaving the rest to the bodyguards.

Darian wasn't about to let him walk away. Even if it meant dying, he was determined to take Brady down with him.

He couldn't get Nicole, but he could at least drag someone else into the grave.

"Mr. Hall, I touched Nicole. Wanna hear about it?" Darian laughed lowly, his voice mingling with the wind, hissing ominously.

Blood flowed faster from the corner of his mouth as he laughed, the crimson liquid stark against his pale skin, creating a grotesque image like something out of a nightmare.

"You wanna die, don't you?" Brady couldn't hold back any longer. He clenched his fist and landed a hard punch on Darian's cheek, causing him to spit out blood instantly.

"Watch your mouth," Brady growled, squatting down and grabbing Darian by the collar.

Darian sneered, and as he did, he secretly pulled a silver lighter from his pocket, ready to take them both down.

The car had leaked fuel when it crashed and rolled over.

All he had to do was ignite it, and they'd all die together. He didn't want to live in this world alone anyway.

Even if Brady didn't kill him, he knew he wouldn't escape the law.

He'd rather die than rot in prison.

So, as he prepared to light the lighter, he continued to provoke Brady, "Mr. Hall, I touched Nicole. Her skin is so soft..."

Brady couldn't stand the insult any longer and was about to punch him again when Darian flicked the lighter, igniting it.

The bodyguard nearby noticed something was wrong and quickly pulled Brady away. "Mr. Hall, run! He's gonna ignite the fuel tank!"

The bodyguard shielded Brady as they ran.

They had only taken a few steps when a massive explosion erupted from the car, sending a shockwave that knocked everyone to the ground.

Darian was consumed by the inferno.

Everyone lay on the ground for a few seconds, stunned, before standing up and looking at the car, now a blazing fireball.

Violet, who had been sitting inside the car, was shocked by the hellish flames. She held Nicole tightly, sitting in a daze for a moment before handing her to a bodyguard to look after.

She quickly got out of the car and ran frantically towards Brady.

When she reached him, she glanced at Darian, now swallowed by the flames, then at Brady, her eyes welling up with tears.

She grabbed Brady's hand tightly and asked, "Honey, are you okay?"

"I'm fine. We're all gonna be okay now," Brady said, pulling her into his arms.

"He's dead."

Violet nodded, holding Brady tighter, but she felt a strange sadness.

Darian was despicable, but he didn't deserve to die.

But he had kidnapped Nicole, and she couldn't muster any sympathy for him.

She leaned against Brady, watching the quiet, burning inferno.

On the other side, Lucien and Alaric stood silently by the flames, both lost in their thoughts.

The firelight pierced through the clouds, casting a somber glow on everyone's faces, leaving them speechless.

After standing there for a long time, Brady decided to leave with Violet.

As he passed Lucien, he said, "Professor Moreau, you've done enough. You don't need to do anything more for him."

Lucien nodded, "But someone has to take care of his body."

Brady glanced at him, said nothing more, and left with Violet and Nicole.

As soon as they left, Alaric's suppressed emotions burst forth, and he fell to his knees in front of the flames.

He felt a familial bond with Darian, who had given him warmth and necessities when he was struggling abroad.

To others, Darian might have been a villain, but to him, he was kind and talented.

He was his benefactor.

Lucien continued to stand there silently, not wanting to say anything.

He just hoped that when Darian started again, did't encounter Violet.
