Chapter 320 Steer Clear of Her
In Digital World Plaza, Max brought Violet and the other members of the design team to the open space outside the venue. Everyone got out of the car and waited while Max went aside to call the venue's supervisor.
Violet, being the youngest and least experienced designer in the group, was deliberately given things to carry by the other veteran designers. One of them, Fanny, was her arch-enemy.
Violet knew they were doing it on purpose, but she didn't let it bother her.
Soon, Max finished his call and turned back to let everyone into the venue inside the plaza.
As they walked, Max noticed the large bags Violet was carrying and immediately understood the situation. His brow furrowed, and he spoke up, "Is this how you treat newcomers? You've got a lot of nerve, letting her do this all alone!"
Max's tone was stern, and although the veteran designers were a bit resentful, they didn't dare to act out. They turned back and took their things from Violet.
"I don't want to see this happen again," Max warned before heading inside.
Violet followed him in without saying anything.
The veteran designers' faces turned a bit sour.
However, Violet didn't care. Some of the designers at JK had changed their views about her, but some of the more veteran ones hadn't. After all the events at JK, including her resignation, she had completely adjusted her mindset. If she could stay, she would; if not, she would find another place.
Violet didn't want to be mistreated anymore.
After Violet and Max went inside, the three senior designers couldn't help but start cursing again, especially Fanny, who was already planning to defect and join Laura at EU. She had no intention of sincerely staying at JK.
So she viciously said, "Look, these are the benefits one gets by selling her body!"
"Yeah, we're older and can't compete with someone young like her."
"Exactly, we should steer clear of her. She has Mr. Green as her backer."
Fanny coldly said, "She can only rely on him for a while. Eventually, she'll have to leave JK." Once she and Laura brought down JK, they wanted to see who else this bitch could rely on.

Inside the beautifully and exquisitely decorated venue, the supervisor in charge of the models politely came over to greet Max and Violet. After that, he took them to meet the models for the show.
Soon, they followed the supervisor to a makeup room behind the venue.
At this moment, in the brightly lit makeup room, a dozen long-legged models were sitting around Leana, chatting. Leana was the one with the best status and background.
No one dared to provoke her; they all treated her like a princess.
When Violet and the others came in, Violet saw Leana sitting there and frowned immediately. It seemed that Leana had been pestering Brady before. Although Brady said they grew up together and were just ordinary friends, Violet couldn't forget the incidents, including Leana hitting her on the head.
Leana probably liked Brady too, and she had a good family background.
Violet glanced at Leana a few times before looking away. To avoid trouble, she decided to steer clear of this woman.
