Chapter 364 She Turned into a With Sharp Claws Out
Violet's eyes went wide as she stared at Brady, totally floored. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I mean," Brady was not really angry, but found it kinda annoying. Violet had lied to him twice, almost making him believe the kids weren't his.
"Want me to spell it out or show you the real paternity test? Your call," Brady said, keeping his cool but sounding harsh.
She knew Brady wouldn't lie, so he must've checked. 'Does that mean he wants the kids?' The thought made her head spin.
Her mind was a total mess, not sure what to do.
After a beat, she grabbed Brady's collar, biting her lip. "Brady, you can't take Henry and Nicole away from me."
Brady let her grab his collar and tried to calm her down. "They're my kids too, right?"
"Brady, you'll get married someday. You can have your own kids, but they are mine," Violet pleaded.
But Brady wasn't backing down. He didn't care about marriage; he just wanted to raise Henry and Nicole.
"Violet, Henry and Nicole will have a better life with me," Brady said gently.
Violet shook her head. 'The kids should be with me!' she thought.
"Brady, please don't fight me for them. They're all I have. I won't survive without them," Violet continued. "They can't live without me either."
She really wouldn't survive. Her only reason to keep going now was her kids.
Violet started to cry, looking pitiful. Brady felt a moment of softness. He just wanted to give the kids fatherly love and a good life.
He wasn't trying to keep her away from the kids. Brady wiped her tears and said, "Violet, let's talk this through. I'm not trying to take Henry and Nicole from you."
"Then what do you want?" Violet didn't believe him. The Hall family would never allow illegitimate children.
"Do you think they can grow up happy without a father's love?" Brady asked, pulling her to the sofa.
Violet bit her lip, her eyes red and swollen. "Henry and Nicole will have a dad in the future."
"Which dad?" Brady frowned.
"Mr. Hall, do you think you're the only man who can be their dad?" Violet shot back, not backing down.
She thought, given the situation, how could Brady still let her stay with the kids? Didn't he need to get married?
Violet didn't buy it.
Of course, she also didn't believe Brady would marry her.
"My kids can't call anyone else 'Dad'," Brady said darkly.
Violet sneered. "Then my kids can't call any other woman 'Mom'."
That sharp tongue of hers was ready to argue. Brady frowned at Violet.
Violet could be gentle when calm, but once provoked, she turned into a cat with claws out, ready to scratch.
