Chapter 722 Our Family Will Become Distinguished
"What's wrong? Something up?" Brady frowned at the message on his phone. Violet wrapped her arms around his neck, her voice full of concern.
"Yeah, something's up." Brady put down his phone and rubbed his forehead. He didn't hide anything from her. "There's some trouble over at Harbor Bay. I need to go check it out."
"Is it serious?" Violet had heard him mention Harbor Bay before.
Aiden had wanted that prime location, too, but Brady had beaten him to it. Brady had started investing and developing the area, and it was almost finished. Now, suddenly, there was trouble?
Could someone be causing this on purpose?
"I'm not sure about the details yet. I need to go see for myself." Brady stroked her hair and said, "You should get some rest. I'll come back to be with you as soon as I handle it."
"Can I come with you? I don't feel safe with you going out at night." Violet tugged at his hand and pleaded, "Please, honey?"
Brady couldn't resist Violet's soft and sweet pleading. His heart melted, but he considered the situation and gently said, "There will be a lot of people and chaos. You're pregnant, and I'm worried something might happen. Please stay home, okay? I promise I'll come back as soon as I can."
Violet wanted to go with him. So much had happened recently, and she was terrified something might happen to him again.
She continued to hold his hand and softly pleaded, "How about this? You take me with you, and I'll stay in the car and wait for you? I'm really scared when you go out at night. If something happens, I'll be so worried."
After she finished speaking, Violet feared he wouldn't agree to take her.
She deliberately kissed his lips.
Brady's body tensed up from her kiss.
He couldn't resist Violet's tenderness and reluctantly nodded, his voice deep and rich, "Stop kissing me. Do you want me to handle business with an erection?"
Violet blushed and quickly pulled back her lips, hugging him before getting up to go to Harbor Bay with him.

Charlotte sat in her bedroom, meticulously applying makeup. She brushed her eyelashes, applied lipstick, perfected her face, and then went to her closet to choose an outfit to accompany Brady to Harbor Bay tonight.

As she stepped into the living room, Daniel, who was watching TV, saw her all dressed up and couldn't help but ask, "Where are you going at this hour?"
"Naturally, I'm going to avenge Eileen and Lilian." Charlotte confidently replied, brushing her long hair.
Daniel frowned, skeptical about Charlotte's late-night revenge plan. "What kind of revenge are you talking about?"
"The Hall Group has an urgent matter tonight, and I'll be accompanying Mr. Hall. Do you think I would waste such a good opportunity?" Charlotte said as she opened the door.
Daniel quickly stood up from the couch and questioned, "Charlotte, are you going to get close to Brady? This could ruin your reputation."
He knew Brady wasn't an easy person to deal with.
Moreover, Brady was married, and Charlotte was single. If people found out, they would surely mock them.
"How else are we going to avenge Eileen and Lilian?" Charlotte thought Daniel's thinking was too old-fashioned.
He wanted revenge, but couldn't find a way.
"Dad, this is how society works. People mock the poor, not the promiscuous. Be realistic. If I can get close to Mr. Hall, our family will rise to the top. Who cares how I get Brady?"
Daniel was silent, realizing she had a point. They couldn't match Brady's power in New Future City. "Do as you wish." He had no other way to deal with Violet, so he let her proceed.
