Chapter 233 She Wondered If He Had Found a Girlfriend
Violet carried the bag that Brady had bought and returned to the apartment.
She originally planned to put them aside and give them back to him when she resigned. However, Henry had sharp eyes and immediately noticed the toy bag in her hand. He started clamoring to play with them.
"Mommy, I want to see," Henry pleaded with a pitiful look. Violet was soft-hearted, so she decided to let them have a look.
She opened the toy bag and saw an expensive custom-made robot and a custom-made Barbie doll.
Violet glanced at the price tags still attached to the toys. Both of them cost $10,000 each. She was surprised by the high price and realized that Brady was extravagant. She couldn't risk letting the kids play with them, as any damage would be costly.
"You two can just take a look, okay? Mommy bought these for someone else, and we can't afford to break them. If they get damaged, Mommy will have to pay a lot of money," Violet patiently explained to them.
Henry didn't fully understand, and Nicole, his little sister, was completely confused. Despite not being allowed to touch the toys, they obediently admired them from a distance. Henry wanted to play with the robot, but Violet quickly put the bag away and promised to buy them other fun toys next month.
Henry was sensible, so he didn't insist on playing with the robot and agreed. Nicole, on the other hand, showed her affection by kissing her mother's cheek and sweetly calling her "Mommy." Violet's heart melted, and she happily embraced her two lovely kids, leading them to the living room to play.
At that moment, Violet felt content to have these two little kids.
The next morning, bright sunlight shone in Brady's luxurious apartment. He woke up early and went to the gym in the building to work out. While exercising, his grandmother arrived with a pot of soup. She was curious to know if he had found a girlfriend.
