Chapter 482 He Knew Brady So Well that He Already Hated Him to the Core
Lilian couldn't see who was inside the car,she had to get in. She wouldn't let Violet throw her back in jail. She knew Violet was serious and would follow through on her threats.
She quickly got into the black car, and she looked at the man sitting next to her, still catching her breath. But when she saw his face, she screamed in terror.
The man was wearing a human skin mask. It was incredibly eerie.
Lilian's mind went blank. She feared she had encountered one of those psychopathic killers. She quickly covered herselfand said, "Who are you? Why did you save me?"
"It doesn't matter who I am. Do you know who those bodyguards work for?" The man spoke slowly. He only cared about who had rescued Violet.
"No." How could Lilian recognize those people?
"Who do you think they work for?" the man continued.
Lilian's eyes widened in terror as she quickly tried to think. "I really don't know. Violet has been abandoned by Brady. Those people can't be Brady's men."
"Do you want revenge?" The man suddenly let out a cold laugh.
Of course Lilian wanted revenge, but now that the Devereux Group had gone bankrupt, she had no means to fight back. How could she get revenge?
"I want to, but I can't do it right now," Lilian said, tears starting to fall uncontrollably.
If it were any other man, he would have felt pity for such a beautiful woman crying.
But this man felt nothing. All he wanted was to ruin Brady and the woman he loved.
Even though the media was now spreading rumors about Brady and another woman.
But he wouldn't believe that Brady could love someone else so quickly.
He knew Brady well. He had come back this time to avenge his brother, who had been shot by Brady years ago.
"I'll help you," the man said coldly.
Lilian thought she had misheard. She looked at the stranger in surprise. "Why? Why would you help me? We don't even know each other."
"We don't need to know each other because we have a common enemy."
"Violet?" Lilian was shocked. She had no idea Violet had offended such a mysterious man.
The man wouldn't reveal his own motives, so if she said Violet, then Violet it was.
Seeing the man nod, Lilian's fear towards him eased a bit. If this man could really help her, that would be perfect.
The bodyguards couldn't catch up with Lilian. They returned to Violet. "Ms. Devereux, she got away in a black car," one of the bodyguards reported.
Violet frowned. "Do you recognize the car?"
The bodyguard shook his head. "No, the license plate isn't local." It could also be a car with fake plates.
"Alright, I'll talk to Brady later." Violet had unknowingly come to rely completely on Brady. She wanted to discuss everything with him.
"Ms. Devereux, what should we do with Mr. Miller?" The bodyguard pointed to Oliver, who was still kneeling and begging for mercy.
Violet looked at Oliver coldly and said, "Hand him over to the police."
When Oliver heard it, he immediately crawled to Violet's feet, grabbing her leg and begging, "Violet, don't do this to me. I was deceived by Lilian.I didn't really want to hurt you."
