Chapter 7 Slapping Lilian's Face
Lilian's expression was initially one of surprise, but she quickly shifted to a mocking tone. "Well, well, Violet, long time no see. Where have you been hiding? Can't believe you have the nerve to show up at Mr. Hall's company!"
Violet's response was cold. "What's it to you?"
"You drugged Mr. Hall. Thought we forgot, huh? Are you here to seduce him?" Lilian's eyes glinted with malice.
She believed that Violet had reappeared because of Brady. What a shameless woman!
"Why? Are you trying to seduce Mr. Hall too? Too bad, he wouldn't want you." Violet sneered in retort.
Violet would never forget how Eileen had brought Lilian, who was only a year younger than her, into the Devereux family when she was just ten.
At first, Violet believed Lilian was the product of Eileen's affair with another man.
Later, she discovered the truth: Lilian was her father's daughter, the result of his long-standing affair with Eileen.
It wasn't until Violet's mother passed away that Eileen and Lilian entered the Devereux family openly.
Previously, Violet had been framed by Eileen and Lilian, and her father cowardly hid behind Eileen.
Violet had lost all respect for her father and any feelings for the Devereux family.
"You shameless slut! Stay away from Mr. Hall or I'll make your life miserable!" Lilian shouted at Violet.
Lilian was jealous of Violet's stunningly beautiful face. She herself was only moderately attractive and couldn't compete with Violet's looks.
She feared that Violet might really hook up with Brady.
Violet's eyes narrowed, and without hesitation, she slapped Lilian hard across the face.
"You bitch! How dare you hit me!" Lilian glared at Violet in shock.
Damn it! Violet seemed much braver than before!
"You deserved it." Violet shook her wrist. "If you speak rudely to me again, I won't hesitate to teach you a lesson."
Violet raised her hand as if to strike Lilian again, making Lilian instinctively flinch back.
Violet smirked disdainfully. As expected, Lilian was all bark and no bite.
"Let me make it clear, I have no interest in Brady. You know I slept with him before, right? Since I've already had him, if you want to be with him, by all means, go ahead." Violet quickly walked away.
Staring after her, Lilian stomped her foot in rage.
How could that bitch be so brazen? She would make Violet pay for this!
Brady belonged to her! She wouldn't let Violet take him away!

Violet exited the Hall Group building and quickly headed to the bus stop.
On the bus, she took a seat by the window, quietly watching the passing traffic.
She needed to become stronger and more excellent, not just for herself, but to ensure a happy life for her two babies and Hellen. She also needed to reclaim what was hers and make Eileen and Lilian pay using the law.
In less than ten minutes, the bus arrived at Hellen's apartment complex.
Violet composed herself and flashed a relaxed smile at the sight of the slightly old apartment building.
Despite the distressing events of the day, she didn't want her family to worry.
Up on the sixth floor, Hellen was playing with Violet's babies.
The two little ones were just learning to walk and could only express their thoughts with adorable baby babble.
Little Henry clung to Hellen, asking for a toy. He was incredibly handsome, inheriting all of Brady's striking features.
He looked like a miniature version of Brady.
His sister Nicole had inherited Violet's beauty. Her small face was charmingly pink, with large, sparkling eyes.
When the doorbell rang, Nicole immediately stood and tugged at Hellen, her tiny body wobbling.
"Nicole, how smart you are! I'll get it. It must be your mommy!" Hellen patted Nicole's head, then gave Henry a little ruffle before hurrying to the door.
As the door opened, Violet's lovely face appeared.
