Chapter 485 Brady Indeed Proposed to Me
Violet returned to the mansion, where Emily and Hellen were playing with the children. After changing her shoes, Nicole and Henry dropped their toys, running towards her.
"Mommy," Henry called out happily.
Nicole also shouted joyfully, "Mommy."
Then Nicole and Henry kissed Violet, and Violet kissed them back. And Henry asked, "Mommy, where's Daddy?"
Brady used to come back every day to stay with them.
Violet patted Henry's head and said, "Your daddy is on a business trip. It will be a while before he can come back to see you."
"What's a business trip?" Henry didn't understand, and neither did Nicole.
"A business trip means your daddy has to go to a faraway city for work. Once he finish there, he'll come back to see you," Violet explained gently.
Henry understood and quickly said, "Then I'll wait for Daddy."
Nicole, just nodded in agreement with him.
Violet picked them both up and walked over to Hellen and Emily, putting them down beside her.
Hellen looked at her and suddenly asked, "Wasn't Brady just outside?"
She had actually heard some noise but without a check.
Violet's face instantly turned red, and she hurriedly denied it, "No, how did you know?"
"I thought it was Brady's voice," Hellen continued.
Emily added, "Really? I didn't hear anything." She had been busy playing with Nicole and Henry and hadn't noticed any noise outside, let alone Brady.
Violet shook her head, unwilling to admit it, "No, Hellen, you must have heard wrong."
"Really?" Hellen didn't want to force Violet. She suddenly sighed, "Violet, what are you gonna do in the future?"
"You can't live under Brady's watchful eye forever, right?" Hellen didn't want to lose any of them.
She had been worried about these things lately. She felt that Brady was destined not to live an ordinary or stable life. She didn't want anything to happen to them.
"Everything will be alright." Violet was still immersed in Brady's promise of marriage.
Hellen felt even more worried. "Violet, I have a request. Will you agree?"
"What is your request?"
Hellen took a deep breath and said, "I sold my old house and have a few million dollars. I'm planning to take Nicole and Henry to settle down in the South, maybe in Sunridge City or Hillcrest City. Those places aren't any worse than New Future City. You won't be under the control of the Hall Family in this way, and you won't have to worry about them taking the children."
She had discussed with Emily, who agreed. If they settled there, Brady probably wouldn't have the energy to track them down.
But Violet suddenly fell silent, her eyes looking at the children playing, feeling extremely conflicted. Should she tell Hellen that she wanted to be with him?
"What do you think?" Hellen asked, seeing her silence, thinking she was considering it, and continued.
Violet snapped back to reality, looked at Hellen, and said gently, "Hellen, Brady was indeed outside just now. He proposed to me."
