Chapter 828 This Cunning Man Cannot Be Ignored
Violet shot Brady a glare.
Lately, his possessiveness and jealousy had been off the charts, and he was constantly teasing her without a care in the world.
If she didn't do something to counteract it, she might just end up surrendering to his relentless teasing.
With that thought, Violet deliberately ran her hand along his perfectly pressed custom shirt, mimicking his moves.
She leaned in and blew a warm breath against his earlobe. "Honey."
But she didn't stop there.
Her fingers deftly moved to his shirt collar, slowly unbuttoning one, then two, then three buttons, revealing his well-defined chest muscles.
Violet continued her mischief, using her freshly manicured nails to trace circles along his chest, creating ripples with each touch.
Her nails glided over his chest, not too hard, not too soft, making Brady's throat dry and his Adam's apple bob up and down.
Desire flared in his eyes, filling the dimly lit car with a charged atmosphere.
"Are you trying to turn me on, honey?" Brady's voice was husky as he pressed her mischievous hand against his chest and leaned in to bite her soft earlobe.
He hadn't expected Violet to start teasing him back.
And she was good at it, too. He could feel it immediately.
"Who told you to mess with me first?" Violet retorted, biting her lip defiantly.
"Looks like we won't make it home," Brady murmured, nibbling on her sensitive earlobe, making Violet almost collapse.
"Brady," Violet whispered, unable to hold back, but too afraid to speak loudly in case Eddy heard them.
She wondered if she was being countered again. It was infuriating.
"How about we go to the movie theater and have some fun? Let me release some of this tension," Brady suggested, pulling back with a smug smile.
Violet's face turned crimson. She had no intention of doing anything like that in a movie theater.
She didn't argue out loud, but she knew she'd refuse once they got there.
After that, Violet didn't dare to tease him anymore, afraid of being countered again.
She sat quietly, leaning against him, waiting to reach the theater.
The rest of the ride was quiet.
But Eddy, sitting in the front, was sweating bullets.
He had heard the commotion between Brady and Violet, and it was quite the thrill.
As a grown man, he was struggling to keep his composure.
Thankfully, he pretended not to hear anything and didn't look back, knowing Brady would deal with him if he did.
Finally, they arrived at the theater. The driver went to park the car while Eddy accompanied Brady and Violet to get their tickets.
While buying the tickets, Brady sent Violet to get some popcorn.
He then turned to Eddy and said, "Book a private VIP screening room."
Eddy immediately understood and quickly arranged for a private VIP room with just two exclusive seats.
Once the tickets were booked, Eddy handed them to Brady. "Mr. Hall, the tickets are ready."
Brady nodded and took the tickets. "When we go to meet that renowned designer, make sure Calliope stays with Violet."
"Mr. Hall, are you worried about Darian causing trouble?" Eddy asked.
"Yeah, we need to be cautious of him," Brady replied.
Darian was too cunning, showing his true colors only to Brady but not to Violet.
He was trying to stay close to Violet.
Such a deceitful and ruthless man couldn't be trusted.
