Chapter 365 She Would't Allow Anyone to Harm Her Treasured Children
"Violet, chill out and let's talk," Brady said, trying to keep his cool.
Violet wasn't having any of it. "Brady, don't even start. I've been with you, and now you want my kids too? You can't have everything."
Brady's temper flared. "What do I get from being with you?" He paused, trying to keep it together. "Violet, let Henry and Nicole stay with me. You can move in too."
Violet bit her lip. "You've already been keeping me, now my kids too?"
Brady was losing it. "How is our relationship like 'keeping'?"
"What's the difference?" Violet snapped back.
"I'm taking Henry and Nicole. You can live with me or stay with Emily," Brady said, barely holding back his anger. "And don't even think about running. There's nowhere in New Future City I can't find you."
Violet was speechless.
She was furious but stuck. She didn't want to move in, but she didn't want Henry and Nicole stay with him either.
Her anger turned to tears. "Brady, you're such a jerk. How can you do this to me?"
She'd given him everything, and now he wanted her kids too.
Brady was at a loss when she cried. He hugged her. "Violet, try living with me. Let's raise Henry and Nicole together." He hadn't thought about marriage yet, but moving in together was a step.
He couldn't just take the kids without considering her feelings.
Brady had a plan, but Violet didn't know. She thought he was just stalling to take the kids.
With no other choice, she nodded after a long silence.
"Move in tomorrow. I'll give you time to adjust," Brady said, touching her hair.
Violet pulled away. "Brady, I'll move in, but promise me if you get married, the kids stay with me. You can visit them. Deal?"
"Brady, is that okay?" Violet cried, pleading.
Her tears fell on his hand, cold and wet.
Brady frowned, feeling sorry for her. He wiped her tears, thought for a moment, and nodded.
He'd deal with the future later.
For now, he'd try living with Violet and raising the kids together.
But Violet was already planning to take the kids away from Brady someday.
She didn't believe he'd marry her or not give the kids a stepmother.
She couldn't let a stepmother raise her kids.
What if the stepmother mistreated them? She couldn't risk it.
Henry and Nicole were her everything, and she wouldn't let anyone harm them.
