"You still don't get it?" Max looked at Fanny, fuming.
Max thought that when Brady chewed her out earlier, she'd get it, but nope.
"You think you were being honest?" Max's tone got harsher. "You trashed Violet. What's the upside? Have you seen the online comments? Is this what you wanted?"
Max always thought Fanny, as a senior designer, would be above petty jealousy and slander, but he was dead wrong.
