Chapter 581 I Used to Think It Was Too Early to Get Married, But I Got Married within A Year of Meeting Violet

In the evening, Violet and Brady bathed Henry and Nicole and put them to bed.

However, Nicole was frightened today. After her bath, she refused to sleep, clinging tightly to Violet's clothes and whimpering.

Violet thought she was just not used to staying in the old villa, so she comforted her, saying, "Nicole, be good. We'll stay here for a while and then move back to Daddy's house, okay?"

Nicole's hands still gripping Violet tightly. Afraid she would run away.

This situation lasted for half an hour. Suddenly, Nicole developed a high fever and had a seizure.

Violet and Brady directly took Nicole to the hospital.

While going downstairs, they didn't notify anyone, fearing to disturb Hellen and Matilda, and took Henry along to the hospital.

Fortunately, they arrived in time, and even though Nicole had a seizure, she could be rescued immediately.

Afterward, the doctor gave Nicole an IV, and she finally calmed down and gradually fell asleep.

Seeing that Nicole was okay, Violet felt relieved.

"Brady, do you think Nicole is not used to staying at Matilda's? Even when we moved to Emily's or your place, she wasn't like this," Violet said worriedly to Brady, holding the sleeping Henry.

"We'll stay for three days and then go back. Matilda likes kids, we can't leave too early." Brady understood what Violet meant.

Violet nodded. "Got it."

Brady reached out to touch Nicole's face, hugged Violet beside him, and stayed with Henry and Nicole as they slept.

The night passed without further incident, and the next day, Nicole's fever went down.

Violet had to go to work, and Brady also had to return to his company, so they sent the kids back to Matilda's place and then went their separate ways.

However, as soon as Nicole returned, she became anxious again, clinging to Matilda or Hellen and not daring to leave their side.

Fortunately, Ava had to go to the company to shoot an advertisement, so Nicole wasn't as scared.

Shortly after Brady arrived at the company, Arthur called him to the ranch.

He had learned about Brady and Violet's marriage and wanted to give Brady a horse worth a million dollars as a gift.

Brady liked horses and didn't refuse the gift.

When they arrived at the ranch, Arthur pointed to a chestnut horse in front of them and said, "How about this one?"

Brady walked over and patted the horse's back. "Not bad."

"This is your wedding gift." Arthur smiled.

Brady patted the horse's nose and said, "Such an expensive gift. When you get married, should I give you even more?"

"I'm not getting married anytime soon." Arthur hadn't considered marriage for himself.

"I used to think I wouldn't get married soon either, but I married Violet within a year of meeting her," Brady responded.

Arthur didn't even have someone he liked, so how could he get married?

"Let me do a fortune-telling for you. The woman you like will come soon," Brady turned around and said.

Arthur was indifferent, then suddenly changed his tone, a bit helplessly saying, "Recently, the Stanley family has had some trouble. The media is exaggerating it a lot."

Brady naturally knew that someone in the Stanley family had died on their wedding night, leaving behind a wife who was still in college.

The public speculated that it was because of Arthur that this person suddenly died.

"This time, let me help you. If you need anything, just say it," Brady said.

Arthur nodded. He didn't care much about handling such rumors, as they were just attempts to shake his position as the heir to the Stanley family.

But what about the woman still in college?

Should he let her stay in the Stanley family after just getting married? Or should he send her away?
