Oliver wasn't foolish. With Lilian pushing him so eagerly, he couldn't help but wonder if going to confront Violet alone might be a bit of a trap.

Lilian immediately put on a fake look of regret and indignation and said to Oliver, "What could I possibly want? I'm just angry for you! Do you know? Lilian continued pretending to be irate. "However... She was just playing with you. She told me that she was only interested in the Miller family's money, so she made you her boyfriend and then went to sleep with Brady Hall."
She continued, "Oliver, I still feel disgusted and angry for you. How could she say such things to hurt you? Even though you two broke off the engagement, everyone knows you were cheated on by Violet."

Oliver got angry soon, and he didn't care what Lilian's motive was for urging him to go after Violet.

"Of course." he assured her.
"Oliver, so it's settled? I'll find a way to get her out, and you take her to the villa," Lilian said excitedly.
Oliver nodded. "No problem."
"It's getting late, Oliver. I have to work tomorrow, so I'll head home now." Having settled the matter, Lilian prepared to leave. Oliver looked at her and suddenly said, as if discovering a treasure. "Lilian, I've noticed you're looking prettier these days."
As he spoke, Oliver reached out to touch Lilian's hand. Lilian immediately pulled away, pretending to be angry. "What are you doing? You can't touch me. My parents have already promised me to someone else. Are you trying to offend him?"
"Who?" Oliver stopped reaching for her hand upon hearing this.
"You'll find out later. I'm heading home now. Bye," Lilian said and quickly ran out.
Once outside, Lilian immediately cursed at the door, "You want to touch me? Dream on!"
