Chapter 519 So Mr. Hall Is Violet's Boyfriend?
After a sleepless night, Violet woke up the next day.
Outside the hospital ward, Max arrived early withbreakfast to visit Violet. He was really worried, especially because her boyfriend hadn't come, which made him feel that there was something wrong between them.
So he wanted to show his good side, hoping Violet would notice his merits.
While Max was carrying breakfast down the hospital corridor, he suddenly noticed several bodyguards appearing on this floor.
On a bench outside Violet's ward, Brady, was talking on his phone.
Max was instantly taken aback.
He hadn't told Brady about Violet's injury. Why would Brady care about a JK designer's injury? Perhaps it was his family, Max guessed. It couldn't be because of Violet.
So he walked briskly towards Brady with the breakfast.
In front of Brady, Max naturally greeted him respectfully, "Mr. Hall, good morning."
Brady was on the phone with Calliope.
Hearing Max's greeting, he pointed to his phone.
Max stood aside to wait.
Brady continued, "When you get to the hospital, explain it to her properly."
Calliope said, "Brady, don't worry. I'll make sure Ms. Devereux doesn't misunderstand you."
"Thank you," Brady said.
Calliope replied, "It's no trouble. I should be the one apologizing for causing Ms. Devereux to misunderstand you."
"No, don't be like this. Just come over now."
Calliope agreed. "Okay, I'll be there soon."
Brady then hung up and turned to Max, and said, "Mr. Green, what are you doing here?"
Max was a bit intimidated and immediately replied truthfully, "Ms. Devereux got injured and I came to look after her."
"Who said she has no one to take care of her?" Brady said, completely treating Max as a rival.
Max was stunned.
Of course, he didn't realize that Brady liked Violet, so he straightforwardly said, "Ms. Devereux's family can't come, and her boyfriend is on a business trip, so I had to come."
Brady said, "It's okay, her boyfriend is backnow. Mr. Green, you don't need to take care of her anymore."
Max was stunned again. "Mr. Hall, is her boyfriend inside?"
Brady said to him, "He's about to go in now."
Then Brady turned the doorknob and walked in.
Max was left very puzzled. After a while, he finally realized.
So Brady is Violet's boyfriend?
