Chapter 1031 There Are So Many Relatives Here, Don't Hold Me
Emily closed the door and answered Violet's call.
Violet's gentle voice came through, "Hey, Emily, are you with Lucien? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, I'm home now," Emily sighed softly.
Violet could hear the fragility in her voice and guessed that Lucien might have taken her to meet Austin's fiancée. She said, "Come over tonight, I'll be waiting for you."
"Okay, I'll be there," Emily replied. "I'm going to take a nap first."
"Alright."
After they hung up, Violet stared thoughtfully at the shimmering lake in the park, lost in her thoughts.
From Emily's voice on the phone, she could tell something was wrong. It must have been Lucien taking her to meet that fiancée.
It's tough, but it's good for her to see Austin's true colors and avoid being deceived in the future.
As Violet was pondering Emily's situation, Brady came over and gently kissed her ear, asking, "What are you thinking about?"
The kiss sent a shiver down Violet's spine. She turned to see the handsome Brady holding her, blushing as she said, "There are so many relatives here, don't hold me like this."
"It's fine, they'll just think I love you very much," Brady said, clearly in a good mood, and continued to hold Violet.
With their three kids over at Matilda's, they had some private time to themselves.
"You're such a sweet talker," Violet teased, but couldn't hide her happiness.
"By the way, your dad and brother are here," Brady said, taking her hand and leading her outside.
Violet was surprised, "Really? I thought they were coming tonight, and our wedding is already over."
"Your brother said your dad wanted to see you as soon as he got out of the hospital. He regrets not walking you down the aisle."
Violet's heart trembled slightly, "There's another ceremony tonight, he can walk me then." Their wedding was split into two parts: the afternoon for close family, and the evening for all guests and friends.
"Alright," Brady nodded, leading her further outside.
As they reached the shaded path in the forest park, they saw James and Ethan walking towards them.
Violet's eyes welled up with tears as she saw them.
Without waiting for Brady to say anything, she let go of his hand and walked towards them.
When she got close, Violet hugged James, "Dad."
James was deeply moved by her calling him "dad," his eyes reddening as he gently patted Violet's back. "Violet, I'm sorry I couldn't make it this morning."
Violet didn't mind, "It's okay, your health is more important. Plus, there's another ceremony tonight, you can walk me then."
James nodded, tears in his eyes.
Ethan handed Violet a wedding gift he had prepared, "Violet, congratulations on your wedding."
"Thank you," Violet said, accepting the gift.
Juniper quickly followed suit, handing her own gift to Violet, "Violet, congratulations on your wedding."
"Thank you," Violet said, accepting the gift again.
The family then chatted and laughed together, creating a warm atmosphere that made Brady, standing a short distance away, smile tenderly.
As long as his beloved was happy, he was willing to do anything for her.
