Chapter 88 Would a normal person intentionally spray juice all over someone's face?
Of course, after spraying this uncontrollable juice, Violet froze completely upon seeing the handsome and aloof man's face covered in orange liquid.
After all, in all the time Brady had grown up, he had never been in such a sorry state.
The orange liquid covered his handsome face and black short hair.
Subconsciously, Violet pursed her lips, hesitating whether to apologize to him or not.
Arthur had already spoken, asking the waiter to bring a hot towel to clean Brady.
And because of her "careless action," the female customers around noticed too. When they turned their heads to look at Brady, instead of being infatuated despite his disheveled appearance, they began to whisper and speculate whether Violet was that kind of woman, intentionally using this method to catch the attention of that man.
Otherwise, why would a normal person intentionally spray juice all over someone's face?
Just as everyone was whispering.
Max suddenly stood up, like a hero saving the beauty, and bowed to Brady, apologizing on behalf of Violet: "Mr. Hall, I'm sorry. Violet is a new employee, just graduated from school and doesn't understand many things. She acted recklessly, please don't get angry, let me apologize on her behalf."
Max, a dignified design director, actually stooped down to apologize for her. Even if Violet wanted to keep her distance from him, she couldn't help but feel touched and instinctively stood up, apologizing to Max apologetically, "Mr. Green, I'm sorry for causing you trouble."
After speaking, Violet realized something and turned around to apologize to Brady as well, "Mr. Hall, I'm sorry."
Brady sat coldly, wiping the juice with the towel, ignoring Violet.
Seeing this, Violet thought he might really be angry.
Without saying much, Max thought Violet was scared when he saw her stiff expression and whispered, "You just graduated, it's okay. Just don't act recklessly like this in the future."
Violet wasn't actually scared, she just pondered over his previous words.
But Max cared, so she politely nodded.
However, the two of them completely disregarded Brady, the "victim," with their back-and-forths.
Brady was accustomed to being aloof and rarely paid attention to women.
But things were different now.
He had thoughts about Violet before.
So how could he tolerate the woman he had wanted to possess engaging in flirtatious behavior with another man right under his nose? Instinctively, he coldly snorted and slapped the hot towel delivered by the waiter heavily on the table, his voice icy as he said to Arthur beside him, "Mr. Gosh, take your time eating. I have something else to attend to."
After speaking, without even glancing at Violet, he walked away with long strides.
"Just walk straight out," Max said to Violet as they left the restaurant. Violet glanced back at him, her eyebrows furrowing in concern. Something seemed off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. After Max's tall figure disappeared at the restaurant entrance, she looked away and returned to her seat with Arthur.
Today, Mr. Gosh's breakfast had been completely disrupted by her presence. Violet pursed her lips and apologized to Arthur, "Mr. Gosh, I'm sorry."
Arthur understood what was happening. His brother had been acting strange lately. This man, who had shown no interest in dating anyone, was now customizing high-end children's furniture and seemed interested in Violet? He really needed to keep an eye on him, lest he remain single for the rest of his life.
"It's alright, it wasn't intentional," Arthur replied, his temper much milder compared to the dominant and aloof Brady. He didn't coldly accuse Violet; instead, he comforted her. Violet felt a little relieved and took a deep breath, while Max continued to flatter Arthur, easing the tension from earlier.
Arthur observed Max's enthusiasm and speculated that he might have been pursuing Violet. His lips curled into a slight smile without saying much more. He simply said, "I'll entrust Miss De Vere with the matter of my cousin's wedding dress. I hope you won't disappoint her."
"Rest assured, Mr. Gosh," Max nodded.
"I'm almost done with my meal. If you both want to order something, feel free; it's on my account," Arthur said, placing down his utensils elegantly and picking up the napkin from the table. "I have something to attend to."
With that, he stood up and left with long strides. The Xu family's car and Violet promptly stood up to see him off. Shortly after he left, Violet and Max also left the restaurant, driving directly to meet Arthur's cousin.
