Chapter 361 Brady Met with the Two Kids Behind Her Back
"Ms. Devereux ain't gonna budge, but we can take it to court," Taylor said, sounding all cautious.
"Going to court? Nah, that's a bad move." Brady got up, thought for a sec, and said, "The Hall family doesn't know about these kids yet. If they find out, it could be a mess for Violet."
"What do you mean, Mr. Hall?" Taylor asked, looking kinda confused.
"For now, let's dodge that. I'll talk to Violet. She might flip out, but the kids need a dad. Especially Henry, he can't just stay with his mom forever."
That evening, after a long grind at work, Violet came home, slipped into her comfy slippers, and the kids, hearing her, dashed over, all excited to hug her.
"Mommy, hug..." they chirped.
"Sweeties, Mommy's beat," Violet squatted down to hug them but couldn't lift both.
The fashion show hustle and Amelia's dress had her wiped out, wishing she had more hands.
By the time she got home, she was running on fumes.
"Henry, Nicole, don't cling to your mommy. She's tired." Hellen gently told the kids as she came over with a plate of fruit.
"Hasn't Emily come back?" Violet asked, holding the kids' hands and heading to the living room.
"Not yet," Hellen said, putting the fruit plate on the coffee table. "I got another free trial coupon for a bilingual early education center. It looks pretty good. You should check it out. I'm thinking of signing the kids up."
Hellen thought early education was super important.
Violet plopped down on the sofa, grabbed a slice of watermelon, and fed it to Nicole. "Aunt Hellen, where'd you get the trial coupon?" she asked.
Hellen got all excited, explaining, "I don't even know. I've been on a lucky streak lately. Good stuff keeps happening. I don't even remember what I bought, and they sent me a trial coupon." Last time, they sent her a $10,000 shopping voucher. This time, it was a free early education trial coupon.
"Such a good deal?" Violet said. She often got various coupons when she shopped, so she didn't think much about it.
"Yeah, so check it out when you have time. I wanna sign them up for a semester," Hellen continued.
Violet wiped Nicole's mouth and asked, "Is it pricey?"
"Not really. The teacher said there's a 60% off for new enrollments. The original $50,000 course is only $20,000 now. Feels like a steal. That center has ads on the subway and buses, so it should be legit."
"Okay, I'll check it out," Violet said, continuing to feed Nicole watermelon.
Meanwhile, Henry grabbed a piece of banana peel, bit into it, and suddenly said, "Mommy, I want Daddy."
Nicole immediately copied Henry, "Daddy."
Violet and Hellen were stunned. They had never taught them this or mentioned wanting a daddy.
"Henry, where'd you learn this?" Violet asked.
Henry took another bite of the banana peel, shook his head, and said, "Daddy found me."
'Daddy found him?' Violet was even more surprised. "Henry, who found you?"
"Daddy," Henry said honestly.
"Who is Daddy?" Violet asked.
Henry blinked, paused, and said, "Uncle Transformers."
Violet's face changed. 'Only Brady gave them Transformers. Did he secretly meet the kids without telling me?'
