Chapter 883 I Want Nicole, I Will Come Back for Her
"Professor Moreau, you're pretty sentimental. I'll do you a favor, but I'm gonna ruin him," Brady said coldly, shooting Darian a look of pure disdain.
Darian had nearly killed Nicole earlier, so Brady wasn't feeling merciful.
Lucien's face went pale at Brady's words, but he stayed quiet.
He knew Darian was in the wrong and couldn't defend him.
He stood off to the side, watching the scene unfold.
Brady walked over to the overturned car.
His bodyguards first pulled out the driver, then dragged the battered Darian out and tossed him to the ground.
Brady stood tall, looking down at Darian with a voice as cold as the cloudy sky above. "Darian, you have a good friend, but you chose to destroy yourself."
Darian knew he had a loyal friend in Lucien, but he felt unworthy of such loyalty. He never deserved it.
He looked up at the sky, his blood-stained eyelashes fluttering, showing no fear of death.
All he wanted now was release.
"Mr. Hall, you've had everything handed to you since you were a kid, but you still had to take Violet from me," Darian said slowly, closing his eyes without a hint of remorse. "Violet was the first girl I ever liked. Why did you have to take her away?"
Brady frowned, scoffing coldly. "You still show no remorse? Jade treated you like her own son, sent you abroad for school, and you repay her by hurting her? And now you kidnap my daughter? You don't deserve to be called human."
Darian wanted to laugh, and he did, blood staining his lips, making his smile eerie and terrifying. "I don't want to be human anymore."
"So don't expect me to change. This is who I am. I want Nicole, and even if you let me go now, I'll come back for her. You can't protect her forever."
Darian's sinister laughter made Brady's anger boil over.
Without hesitation, Brady stomped on Darian's right hand, knowing he relied on it for his work as a designer.
He wanted to teach him a lesson.
Brady's stomp was heavy, quickly bruising Darian's hand.
But Darian didn't care; he kept laughing. "You can crush my hand, but I'll still come for Nicole. I couldn't have Violet, but I'll get Nicole!"
"When the time comes, I'll destroy Nicole bit by bit, make her call me daddy."
Darian's vile words were beyond madness.
Brady was on the verge of killing him, but he held back, thinking of Violet and Nicole. He couldn't risk everything for this man.
He stomped on Darian's hand again, breaking the bones.
Only when he heard the bones crack did he lift his foot. Despite the pain, Darian showed no fear or remorse, continuing to laugh. "Mr. Hall, unless you kill me, I'll come for Nicole. I'll keep my eyes on her, never letting go."
Brady was furious, ready to beat him again. But reason prevailed. Why dirty his hands and risk prison for a lowlife? It wasn't worth it.
Brady restrained himself, planning to have his bodyguards beat Darian half to death.
But before he could speak, Darian suddenly said, "Mr. Hall, come here. I have something to tell you about Nicole."
