Chapter 429 Has Her Son Really Been Dating the DeVere family's Young Lady?
Lilian stood off to the side, waiting for Ava to say something.
But Ava was too stunned to speak.
She thought, 'Brady with some random woman? No way! I know him too well; he's always so disciplined. No ordinary girl could catch his eye, especially not someone like that.'
Ava sat there, lost in thought, her brow furrowed. Her voice was heavy. "Are you serious?"
"No cap!" Lilian replied.
Ava couldn't doubt her, but why was Lilian telling her this? What was her angle?
Ava wasn't naive. She smiled and asked, "Ms. Devereux, why did you come all this way to tell me this?"
"Because Violet forced me to quit, and I loved my job," Lilian said, starting to cry.
She looked so pitiful and wronged. No one would doubt her.
Lilian added, "Aunt Brown, you might not believe me, but I had no choice. I was so angry that I came here. I know only you can help me."
Ava thought for a moment and said, "Ms. Devereux, I understand. Thanks for telling me. You can go back now."
Lilian wiped her tears and politely said goodbye to Ava.
As soon as she left, Ava frowned and started thinking about the whole situation.
The butler handed her an iPad with explosive news about Brady. As Ava read, her expression transformed.
How could this be? She had only been abroad for about a year, and now this?
Whose child was this girl?
Could she really be Brady's?
Ava didn't believe it; Brady wasn't that kind of guy.
To verify the news, she immediately called the Hall Group's assistant. She knew asking Brady directly might not get her the answer she wanted.
The assistant, receiving Ava's call, didn't dare to neglect her and truthfully relayed the news from back home. However, he wouldn't confirm that the child was Brady's; he only said, "There is indeed such news, but it's fake. Someone is framing him."
Ava trusted him.
'The child's matter may be fake. But what Lilian told me shouldn't be, right? So is Brady really dating Violet back home?' The more Ava thought about it, the more anxious she became. She couldn't let such a messy woman be around Brady; she had to handle it.
She wouldn't tell Brady, knowing he'd likely be reluctant to cut ties.
Thinking of this, Ava immediately asked the butler to gather all of Violet's information. With all this happening, she couldn't stay here any longer.
She would book tickets to return home with Olivia tomorrow.
