Chapter 996 Does This Aria Really Know Brady?

The jewelry Violet was picking out was from a store owned by Matilda's friend.

Matilda took her to this century-old store to choose some pieces.

When Matilda's friend saw her, she immediately came over, and the two elderly ladies started chatting away, almost forgetting about Violet standing nearby.

After they had talked enough, Matilda remembered she was there to help her granddaughter-in-law pick out jewelry.

She quickly took Violet's hand and said affectionately, "Violet, I'm sorry, I got carried away chatting with my friend. Let's go pick out some jewelry now. Whatever you like, just get it."

"Grandma, Brady has already bought me a lot. We don't need to spend so much," Violet didn't mind Matilda chatting for so long; she just didn't want Matilda to spend too much.

"A woman's wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and you're the only granddaughter-in-law of the Hall family. We can't let you down," Matilda didn't care about the expense.

The Hall family had so much wealth.

Even if they bought ten thousand pieces of jewelry, it would be easy.

Not to mention just a few pieces for the wedding.

"So, don't feel bad. Pick whatever you like, or I'll be upset."

With Matilda saying that, Violet couldn't refuse anymore, so she went with Matilda to the counter to pick out jewelry to match her wedding dress.

After browsing for a while.

Violet found a set of rose diamond jewelry.

She asked the clerk to take it out, but the clerk glanced at the set and quickly said, "Mrs. Hall, I'm sorry, this set has been reserved."

"Really? That's too bad," Violet really liked the rose diamond jewelry.

The clerk took out another set from a different cabinet, "Mrs. Hall, you might like this pink rose diamond set. It's similar in price to the rose set."

Violet nodded and took the pink rose diamond set to look at it.

Meanwhile, another clerk at the counter received a phone call and hurried over to the first clerk, saying, "Give me that rose set, Ms. Clark is coming to pick it up."

"Okay." The clerk serving Violet quickly took out the rose necklace set and started packaging it.

The other clerk continued to remind, "By the way, Ms. Clark requested the back of the necklace to be engraved with 'Hall.' Check if it's done."

"It's engraved," the clerk packaging the set replied efficiently.

Hearing this, Violet frowned slightly and instinctively asked, "Is this Ms. Clark named Aria Clark? The one who designs custom wedding dresses?"

"Yes, Mrs. Hall, do you know her?" The clerk was initially surprised but then nodded politely.

"I bought my wedding dress from her," Violet said calmly.

But she started to wonder if Aria really knew Brady.

Or was it just a coincidence?

But if it was just a coincidence, why did she say those things? And why engrave 'Hall' on the back of the necklace?

She didn't have the last name Hall. Or maybe... she had a boyfriend who happened to have the last name Hall?

Violet couldn't figure it out and didn't want to delve into it. She was about to get married and didn't want any unnecessary complications.

So she didn't think about it further.

She continued to pick out necklaces.

After finishing, they left the store, and Emily sent her a message: she had arrived in America.

Seeing Emily's message, Violet felt a sense of relief.

However, Lucien had also gone to her place, and Violet wondered if they had met.

She thought about it and decided to accompany Matilda home first.

She would ask Emily later.

In America, Imperial City.

After getting off the plane, Emily sent Violet a message and then helped her father, Douglas, to the hotel they had booked.

Lucien didn't follow them from the airport.

Emily didn't see him in her peripheral vision and didn't pay attention.

Austin didn't see Lucien either, and subconsciously relaxed a bit as they headed to the hotel.

Austin took the initiative to book two rooms.

He handed one room key to Douglas and one to Emily.

Seeing that Austin didn't book a room for himself, Emily asked, "Austin, aren't you getting a room?"

Austin deliberately showed his frugal side, smiling, "I don't need one. I'll stay with my friend to save some money."

"Austin, we're going to be family. How can we let you stay outside?" Douglas chimed in, then instructed his daughter, "Emily, get Mr. Roberts a room."

Emily nodded and went to the front desk to book a room.

Austin had planned to use the excuse of staying with a friend to crash in Emily's room, but since Douglas spoke up, he couldn't refuse and let Emily book a room for him.

After booking, they took their luggage and went up to the hotel's top floor.

The Hart family was wealthy, so they chose a five-star hotel with luxury suites.

The room's quality and environment were excellent, and standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, they could see the entire city center park.

After settling her parents in, Austin stayed in their suite to take care of them and discuss the details of the upcoming check-up, trying to win their favor.

Emily went to her room to unpack.

After a while, the suite's doorbell rang. Emily thought it was hotel service.

Without thinking, she opened the door.

To her surprise, Lucien was standing there, having changed out of the formal clothes he wore on the plane.

He was now in a comfortable cotton casual outfit, his eyes slightly lowered as he looked at her and said, "Your father's situation can't be solved by his friend."
