Violet knew that when Gerry came to see her, she didn't want to meet him. However, she thought that if he caused a scene at the Hall Group, it would ultimately affect the Hall Group's reputation. She didn't want the Devereux Family to ruin Brady.
So, she decided to meet Gerry.
As she walked out, Gerry was waiting for her.
The moment he saw her, he put on a pitiful look,and walked up to Violet, saying, "Violet, please save the Devereux Group, Sorry, I shouldn't have been so cold to you. Can you please save the Devereux Group?"
Gerry's crying was obviously fake, and Violet knewit. She just didn't want to expose him, so she calmly said, "The Devereux Group's bankruptcy is inevitable. I can't save it."
"How can't you save it? You're with Brady now. As long as he agrees, the Hall Group will be fine," Gerry said.
Did she really can't save it?

Gerry felt disgusted and looked at Violetfiercely, saying, "You don't want to help the Devereux Family, do you?"

So she ignored Gerry. She turned and walked away.
After a few steps, Gerry suddenly slammed into a nearby pillar. His forehead instantly had a wound, and he fell to the ground.
It startled the two security guards nearby.
Violet was also shocked when she saw it.
But he seemed okay, not too seriously injured.
He was just holding his forehead, sitting on the ground in a daze.
However, he was in the company, and his troublemaking was definitely not acceptable. If Violet's colleagues saw it, there would be gossip, andeven spread online.
Violet was very afraid of being exposed online. She quickly called Brady.
Brady, in his top-floor office, received her call andsaid, "Bring him up here with you."

Violet responded on the phone, "Okay, I'll bring him up."
After hanging up, she told the security guards, "Take him to Mr. Hall's office."
Then she went upstairs first.
The two security guards helped the dazed Gerry to the top floor.
When they reached the top floor, Violet knocked and entered.
Brady, flipping through a document, said, "The Devereux Family is causing trouble?"
Violet nodded helplessly. "Yes, there was almost an incident just now."
"Sorry for that," Brady said, closing the document in his hand.
"I don't want to get involved. The Devereux Group is bankrupt anyway, and that's fine," she said, having achieved her goal.
So she didn't want to have any more dealings with the Devereux Family.
Brady understood and said, "Got it. I'll help you get back at him."
