Chapter 956 Is Brady's Libido Too Strong?

The next day, sunlight streamed through the sheer curtains of the floor-to-ceiling windows, and it was already around 10 AM.

Violet and Brady had slept in.

But it wasn't really her fault; last night, Brady had been like a wild animal. He had promised her an unforgettable, fiery night, and he certainly delivered, wearing her out multiple times.

Even after she fell asleep, he kept going, tirelessly.

No sign of fatigue at all.

So naturally, after such a night, they couldn't get up early.

Brady wasn't in a rush either. It was rare for him to have a couple of days to relax without having to go back to the office.

So he had no sense of time.

He threw himself into sleep.

Violet woke up at 10 AM, feeling well-rested. The thought of seeing their three kids today instantly energized her. She quickly got up and nudged the man sleeping peacefully beside her.

"Brady, get up, we need to go home."

Brady was already awake but wanted to rest a bit longer. Violet's gentle push on his bare, muscular chest felt like a spark.

It sent a shiver through him.

Brady's eyes snapped open, a hint of desire flickering in them. He sighed inwardly, suppressing the urge, and got out of bed.

He was really going to be the death of him.

Violet didn't notice his morning desire and continued, "Hurry up, we need to get back early."

She got out of bed, only to see Brady still sitting there.

"Why aren't you getting up?" she asked.

Brady's lips curled into a slight smile. Looking at her, he didn't mind being honest, "You go ahead. I don't want to scare you when I get up."

Violet didn't get it at first, but a second later, she blushed furiously.

She quickly headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

But her heart was pounding. Was Brady's libido too strong?

They had gone at it several times last night.

How could he still be like that... in the morning? She couldn't think about it; the more she did, the hotter her face felt.

Violet quickly washed up and went downstairs to wait for him.

Half an hour later, Brady had taken care of himself and came down after freshening up.

They exchanged a glance. Violet's face was still red, avoiding his gaze, while Brady didn't mind, taking her hand and leading her out.

Their private jet was already waiting on the runway.

They boarded the plane, the door closed, the engines roared to life, and the aircraft smoothly took off, elegantly soaring into the sky.

They were finally returning home.

The flight from their private island to Crestoria took four hours, and it was already evening in Crestoria when they landed.

The evening breeze was gentle, and the twilight was serene.

As they stepped off the plane, the familiar scent of concrete and steel, rather than the salty sea air of the island, greeted Violet. She took a deep breath.

Yes, this was the smell of Crestoria.

She was home.

And to her surprise, Emily was there to pick her up.

Seeing the woman leaning against a fiery red sports car, Violet immediately let go of Brady and ran over, "Emily, what are you doing here?"

Emily raised an eyebrow and smiled, "I have something to tell you!"

"And of course, I wanted to see you. You've been on vacation abroad for so long, I couldn't reach you."

Violet coughed, "I had quite an eventful vacation. I'll tell you all about it later."

"Okay," Emily nodded.

"By the way, what did you want to tell me?" Violet noticed she seemed a bit serious.

"I'm planning to get engaged," Emily said, without much happiness but also without much reluctance.

Violet was stunned. She had only been gone for about a week, and now Emily was getting engaged?

To whom?

"Who are you getting engaged to?"

Emily smiled wryly, "It's just a plan. Our parents have been discussing it these past few days; nothing's set yet. I just needed to talk to someone because it's been stressing me out." She did have thoughts about dating Professor Austin Roberts.

But she wasn't ready to get engaged so soon.

Her dad's sudden health issues had made things urgent.

"Oh, the engagement is with that professor, Austin Roberts."

Lucien's colleague! That jerk!

"Alright, we'll talk about it later," Violet could tell she wasn't really into Austin.

Emily didn't want to take up her time now, so she quickly said, "Not today. It's not a big deal. I just wanted to see you and give you a ride. Go home and spend time with your kids tonight."

"I'll find you tomorrow if you're free?"

Violet nodded, taking her hand, "I'm planning to go dress shopping tomorrow. Come with me and help me pick out a dress, and we can talk about your situation."

"Sure," Emily felt relieved. It's good to have friends.

Otherwise, there'd be no one to talk to when things get tough.
