Chapter 422 He Turned Back into the Dominant, Assertive, and Incredibly Charming Brady
A week later, Brady's foot was pretty much back to normal, and he could get around just fine without Violet hovering over him.
The online chatter about JK and designer Violet was still going, but it had cooled down a bit.
But Violet's debut show at that event had really caught the eye of some big-name designers.
Everyone was flocking to JK's official site to comment on Violet's work.
Saturday morning rolled around, and Brady was all set to leave the hospital.
Violet was at home, getting ready to pick him up. Just as she was about to head out, her two kids clung to her, begging to come along.
Especially Henry, who pleaded for Violet to take him out. "Mommy, I wanna go outside and play."
It was Saturday, and Violet didn't have to work, so she could've taken them out. But today was the day Brady was getting discharged, and she didn't have time for playdates.
She tried to soothe Henry, "Henry, sweetie, I have something important to do today. Once I'm done, I'll take you both out for some yummy food, okay?"
Violet gently coaxed them.
Henry wasn't having it, though. He turned away, pouting. "No, I want to go with you, Mommy."
Nicole, on the other hand, was more understanding, even though she also wanted to go out.
While Violet was trying to calm them down, Nicole had already let go and was just watching.
"Henry, be a good boy, okay? I promise, once I'm done, we'll all go out and have fun," Violet said, feeling a bit stressed.
Boys were definitely tougher to handle, not as easygoing as girls.
Henry crossed his arms, still pouting. "Daddy."
Violet tried a different approach, "I'm going to pick up your daddy. We'll all go out and have fun when Daddy's back, okay?"
As soon as Henry heard "Daddy," his face lit up, and he quickly said, "Daddy...together...It's okay."
Nicole, standing next to him, echoed, "Daddy..."
It was clear that Brady was becoming more and more important to them. They mentioned him a lot when he wasn't around.
Violet thought it was great that they had a father's love.
But she worried about what would happen if she couldn't marry Brady. What about the kids then?
She decided not to dwell on it for now and focused on picking up Brady.
After leaving the kids with Hellen, she headed straight to the private hospital to see Brady.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Brady was already dressed in his usual sharp business attire, a crisp white shirt, and black trousers. His foot was almost fully healed.
He was back to being the confident and incredibly charming Brady everyone knew.
