After coming out of his office, Max walked straight to Violet's side and said, "Violet, I need to talk to you."
"Mr. Green, what can I do for you?" Violet stood at the front desk and asked.
"It's nothing really, I mean—if someone comes to pursue you during work hours, please don't make it too overdramatized and affect the image of our company, JK." Max said gently.
The probing in his words was not easy to discern if one wasn't paying close attention to his hidden meaning. Just like Violet, she didn't understand the meaning behind his words at first and felt that he was blaming her. She quickly apologized, twisting her pretty little face, "Mr. Green, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I don't even know Mr. White. I promise this won't happen again."
"I won't affect the company's image either."
Violet nervously apologized, and Max instantly felt relieved. It turned out that Violet didn't even know Mr. White. Judging from what she said, she didn't have any interest in him either.
Feeling reassured, Max pretended to discuss official matters and said, "That's good because JK is not a small company, and our image is important."

After calming down, she quickly asked the receptionist for the courier's number and called the delivery guy to come and pick up the gifts. They needed to be returned to the White family.
Actually, she didn't know the specific address of the White family, but she searched online for the White Corporation. She decided to have the gifts delivered to their company instead.
After ending the call, Violet went to her own office area to help the old lady design her hat. She needed to finish this hat quickly. She didn't want any more involvement with the Hall family.
Violet designed on the drafting paper on her desk.
