Chapter 425 Brady is Being Secretly Photographed by Reporters
Brady and Violet rushed back to the mansion from the hospital in no time.
As soon as they got there, Henry and Nicole ran over, all excited, and hugged Brady's leg.
But that wasn't enough for them—they wanted to be picked up by Brady.
Violet wasn't having it. Even though Brady's foot was better, she didn't want him overdoing it. She was worried it might mess things up again.
So, she quickly stepped in when she saw the kids wanting Brady to lift them. "Henry, Nicole. Your dad just got back and he's super tired. Let him rest, okay?"
Henry was confused.
"Why would Dad be tired?" he asked, tilting his little head.
Brady chuckled. He hugged them both and asked, "Did you guys miss me?"
Henry and Nicole clung to his neck. Henry shouted, "Yes, a lot!"
Nicole, who was still too young to talk much, just made some cute noises to show she missed him too.
Brady was thrilled and gave them both kisses.
Violet was still worried. "Brady, your foot just healed. Are you sure it's okay to hold them like that?"
"No biggie. Don't treat me like I'm made of glass. It's just a minor injury." Brady was always in good shape and bounced back quickly. Holding the kids was no problem for him.
Violet was just concerned about any long-term effects. After all, the whole thing happened because of her. She felt responsible for keeping him safe.
Seeing him so confident, Violet decided to trust him.
Brady then played with the kids by the sofa for a bit. Henry remembered his mom had promised to take him out to play that morning, so he tugged on Brady's shirt and said, "Dad, let's go play."
Brady ruffled his hair. "You wanna go out and play?"
Henry nodded eagerly.
"Alright, how about we hit the amusement park in a bit?" Brady said with a smile.
Violet asked again, "Are you really okay?"
Brady gave her a look. He was getting tired of her worrying.
Did she think he was that fragile? He leaned in close, gently bit her earlobe, and whispered, "Relax, I'm fine. I could even go three rounds with you tonight."
His words made Violet blush.
Who said she wanted to go three rounds with him tonight?
But deep down, Violet felt a thrill. Maybe she really was falling for Brady, which was why she felt this way.
That afternoon, Brady took them to the biggest amusement park nearby.
It was Henry and Nicole's second time there. The first time was just with their mom, but this time, both parents were there.
They were over the moon.
Seeing all the fun stuff, they wanted Brady to join in.
Brady, being the doting dad, agreed, which made Violet a bit jealous.
Since Brady came back, Henry and Nicole had been glued to him, totally ignoring her.
Violet sighed, walked over, and said, "Brady, that ride looks too dangerous. Maybe we should skip it."
"Alright, we'll find another one," Brady said, noticing the danger sign and not wanting to take any chances.
He was about to take Nicole to another ride when suddenly, a reporter popped up out of nowhere.
The reporter, familiar with Brady, was at the amusement park seeking a story. Spotting the famous bachelor of New Future City with a kid was a goldmine.
But here he was, holding a kid at the amusement park? Was it an illegitimate child, or was he secretly married?
The reporter didn't waste any time and started snapping pictures.
After just a couple of shots, Violet noticed the camera and panicked. She quickly called out to Brady, "Brady, there's a reporter taking pictures. Protect Nicole and don't let them get a shot!"
