Chapter 827 This Is How Brady Gets Nervous and Jealous
The dinner that followed was a tense affair for Violet, even though it was free of any overt conflict.
Thankfully, Darian refrained from making any suggestive comments and stuck to discussing business matters.
After the meal, Brady politely escorted Darian to his car. Once Darian's car was out of sight, Brady turned to Violet and said, "Hey, how about we catch a movie?"
Violet was surprised. "Are you serious?"
She had mentioned it offhandedly, not expecting him to agree.
"Absolutely. From now on, whatever you want to do, I'm in." Brady knew he needed to make more time for Violet.
He didn't want any unwelcome distractions hovering around her.
"You're being so kind," Violet said with a smile, tilting her head.
"Aren't I always?" Brady raised an eyebrow, giving her nose a playful pinch and a loving smile.
"Of course you are!" Violet replied.
He was always good to her, but he had been so busy lately.
He rarely agreed to go to the movies or anything like that.
Now he was even suggesting it himself.
Violet wondered if he was worried she might stray.
The thought made her chuckle.
So this was what Brady was like when he was nervous and jealous?
He wanted to be with her forever."Let's go then," Brady said, wrapping an arm around her waist as they got into the car.
Once inside, Brady turned to Eddy, who was sitting in the front passenger seat. "Eddy, did you take care of that thing I asked you about?"
"Yep, everything's set. We can leave tomorrow," Eddy replied promptly.
"Good," Brady nodded, not asking further.
Curled up in his arms, Violet was curious. She looked up and asked, "Are you going on a trip tomorrow?"
"Yeah, to meet someone," Brady said, not wanting to reveal too much just yet.
He wanted to surprise her later.
He couldn't be sure if he could secure the help of the renowned designer.
If he could, it would be great.
So for now, he kept it a secret.
"Who?"
"A client. Do you want to know?" Brady teased, tapping her nose.
"Since it's your client, I won't pry," Violet said, understanding the importance of mutual respect and space in a marriage.
Brady nodded, "Alright."
Their car started moving towards the nearby theater.
After a while, Violet suddenly remembered something and pulled away from Brady. "It's almost 9 PM. I wonder if there are any movies still showing?"
"Even if there aren't, I'll make sure you see one," Brady said confidently.
As long as the theater was open, he could get her into any movie.
Violet smiled and leaned back into his arms. "I know you're amazing."
Brady held her tighter, whispering in her ear, "You think that's amazing? You have no idea how amazing I can be. I'll show you tonight."
His words and the warm breath on her ear made Violet blush instantly.
She quickly whispered, "What are you doing? Eddy and the others are right there."
Even though they probably couldn't hear.
"I'm whispering to you. They can't hear," Brady chuckled.
"Who knows, what if they do?" Violet said, her face still red.
"Even if they do, they won't say anything," Brady continued to tease her.
He found that besides playing with their three kids, teasing Violet was incredibly fun.
Especially seeing her shy and innocent reactions, which made him want to take her to bed and show her just how much he loved her.
