Chapter 840 He Wants to Make Violet Feel Guilty and Visit Him at Home

"I've got an idea. Wanna join me?" Darian asked, his eyes soft.

Violet, feeling uninspired, replied, "Mr. Voss, what are you thinking?"

"These design competitions usually focus on themes that match international brands, which are pretty trendy. This time, I want to visit a school to find some pure, unfiltered inspiration. Wanna come with me?"

"A school?" Violet was a bit taken aback by his suggestion.

"Yeah, you in?" Darian pressed.

Violet thought for a moment.

Going to a school with him to find inspiration didn't seem like a bad idea. "Sure, I could use some fresh design ideas."

"Awesome, let's head out now." Darian smiled, a spark of excitement in his eyes.

This was the first time Violet had agreed to go out alone with him.

"Okay." Violet had no objections, but she made sure to inform Max before leaving with Darian.

As they left JK, the other designers, who had been watching Darian closely, couldn't help but express their envy.

"If Mrs. Hall weren't married, they'd make a great couple!"

"Yeah, I never noticed before, but Mrs. Hall and Mr. Voss do look good together."

"A perfect match."

"What are you talking about? Mr. Voss can't compare to handsome, wealthy, and charismatic Mr. Hall!"

"We're just saying. Of course, Mr. Hall is better. It's just that Mr. Voss looked at Mrs. Hall with such affection."

"You shouldn't say things like that. Rumors start that way. Nothing is going on, and if people hear you, they'll spread it, and something innocent will turn into gossip."

"Alright, alright, we were wrong. They can't be together." The female designers quickly fell silent, realizing the potential consequences of their words.

After leaving the Hall Group, Darian and Violet drove straight to their old high school.

At the school gate, Violet frowned at the familiar entrance, feeling a bit wary. "Mr. Voss, why did you bring me to our high school?"

"Where else would we go? I spoke with the principal to let us in for some inspiration," Darian replied calmly, smiling.

His explanation made sense, and there was nothing suspicious about it.

Violet gave him a skeptical look but then decided to get out of the car.

They had a contract, and she couldn't let her doubts interfere with their work.

Lucien had warned her, but she didn't want to seem overly cautious.

She wanted to work with Darian professionally, without any personal feelings involved.

As long as she stayed focused, everything would be fine.

Fortunately, their time at the school was strictly professional. Darian was serious about their work, discussing design ideas without crossing any boundaries.

Violet gradually let her guard down.

As their interviews were wrapping up, the clear blue sky suddenly turned dark with rolling clouds, and a heavy downpour began.

They hadn't expected rain and had left their umbrellas in the car. Violet also hadn't brought any bodyguards, so there was no one to shield her from the rain.

Seeing the torrential rain, Violet considered waiting it out, but Darian quickly took off his jacket and placed it over her head. "Let's run to the car."

Violet hesitated, "Shouldn't we wait for the rain to stop?"

"This rain isn't going to stop anytime soon. Do you want to stay here all day?" Darian urged.

Violet looked at him, then at the rain, and decided to run with him to the car, covered by his jacket.

As they ran, Darian intentionally let himself get soaked. He knew he would catch a cold, hoping it would make Violet feel guilty and visit him at home.
