Chapter 379 Brady's Paternal Love Surged

The two of them started whipping up some tasty grub for the babies, looking like a couple of newlyweds.

But man, Brady was a disaster in the kitchen, especially with those meatballs. While he was trying to help Violet with the meat filling, he almost knocked over the whole bowl of seasoning. Violet got so mad she gave him a playful punch.

Of course, it didn't hurt, but to Brady, it felt different, like Violet was really his wife.

Brady flashed a sexy grin.

He reached out and messed up Violet's fluffy long hair. Violet winced and quickly said, "Brady, quit messing with my hair. What if Hellen wakes up and sees?"

Brady shrugged. "She’s gotta find out about us sometime. Why hide it?"

"Hellen can't stand you right now. You think she'll be cool with us dating?" Violet pushed him away. "She's not in great health. What if she gets upset and sick?"

Brady pulled back. "So when are you gonna tell her?"

"We can't keep sneaking around like this," he said.

"Later," Violet dodged.

Actually, Violet didn't want anyone knowing about her and Brady. If word got out, people would think she was just his kept woman.

A guy like Brady would only date someone from a rich, fancy family.

Violet didn't want to be the butt of jokes, so she never planned to tell anyone.

But Brady was serious. "Alright then. You gotta tell Hellen later; don't forget."

"Okay," Violet mumbled, looking down to keep making the meatballs. "You better not help. You'll just mess up all the stuff I prepped."

Brady just hummed and stepped back, watching Violet.

A warm feeling started bubbling up inside Brady.

This whole trial marriage thing wasn't so bad after all.

Brady's eyes narrowed a bit. If this trial run felt good, he’d officially introduce Violet to the Hall family.

In 15 minutes, all the meatballs were done. Violet tossed them in the pot to cook, and Hellen got up with the two babies. Brady saw the kids wake up and went to help them wash up.

Though Brady seemed cold on the outside, after spending some time with him, it turned out he wasn't as icy as he looked.

Hellen stood by, feeling a bit conflicted.

If Brady wasn't the CEO of the Hall Group, maybe she wouldn't be so on edge.

But since he was the CEO, Hellen figured a rich guy like him wouldn't just marry Violet; he'd probably take the kids away in the end.

What would happen to Violet then? Hellen didn't want to think about it. The more she thought, the less she liked Brady.

Hellen watched for a bit. When Brady finished helping the babies wash up, she quickly took their hands and headed to the dining room to find Violet.

By then, Violet had cooked the meatballs and made some porridge.

Hellen sat the little ones in their chairs and went to help Violet with breakfast.

Brady sat next to the kids, keeping them company.

Henry had been warming up to Brady lately. When he saw Brady pouring water for him and his sister, he blurted out, "Daddy."

When Henry said that, the three adults in the dining room froze.

They all stared at Henry, especially Brady, who was over the moon. He had tried to get Henry to call him "Daddy" before, but Henry wasn't into it. But this morning, out of nowhere, Henry called him "Daddy."

Brady's heart swelled with pride. 'Henry is definitely my boy, good job.'
