Chapter 766 I Just Can't Stand This Homewrecker

Violet and Brady had been having a sweet conversation on the phone for a while when Charlotte and Calliope came out of the restroom.

Brady ended the call with Violet.

After hanging up, Violet put down her phone and was about to rub her eyes to give herself a break.

She needed to be well-rested to deal with Charlotte when she got to Thornwick.

But just as her fingers touched her eyes, her phone rang again.

Violet thought it might be someone from work, but when she looked at the screen, it was an unknown number.

Normally, she wouldn't answer calls from unknown numbers, but she noticed the area code was from Thornwick.

After a moment's hesitation, she decided to answer.

"Hello, Mrs. Hall. I'm sorry to bother you. I'm a flight attendant with Skyline International Airways," said a gentle voice on the other end.

"Hi, what can I do for you?" Violet asked, a bit puzzled.

"I was on a flight today and noticed Mr. Hall. I've seen stories about you two online, so I paid attention. I saw a girl with him who seemed to have bad intentions. I thought, with how much you and Mr. Hall love each other, I couldn't let this woman succeed. So, I found your contact info on the JK website and reached out," the flight attendant explained, omitting her interest in Brady.

She only mentioned Charlotte.

Violet listened, her eyebrows knitting together slightly. Eddy's investigation had been right.

Charlotte was just like Eileen; there was no way she could be different.

She had almost been naive enough to believe Charlotte.

"Thank you," Violet said politely.

"No need to thank me, Mrs. Hall. I just can't stand homewreckers," the flight attendant said indignantly.

"Alright, thank you. I understand."

"You're welcome. I won't bother you anymore," the flight attendant said, feeling satisfied.

She couldn't confront Charlotte herself, but she knew Violet would handle it.

Imagining Charlotte being put in her place by Violet was immensely satisfying.

After hanging up, Violet fell into deep thought.

Charlotte was smart and wouldn't act impulsively like Lilian.

She needed a thorough plan to get her out of the Hall Group for good.

At the airport.

Charlotte and Calliope came out of the restroom, and the assistant had bought some burn ointment.

The assistant opened the ointment and handed it to Charlotte. "Ms. Devereux, apply this to prevent infection. If it gets infected, your hand could be ruined."

"Thank you," Charlotte said, taking the ointment.

Calliope grabbed it from her. "Your hand is hurt. Let me do it."

She gently applied the ointment, saying, "Charlotte, why are you always so careless? Look at how many injuries you've gotten since joining the Hall Group."

Charlotte smiled nonchalantly. "It's nothing, just accidents. We can't control everything, right?"

As she spoke, her eyes fell on the man sitting on a bench, looking at his laptop.

Her malicious thoughts resurfaced.

"Even if accidents happen, you should be more careful," Calliope said, genuinely concerned.

"Don't worry, I'm fine," Charlotte said, forcing a smile as she looked away.

Just then, Brady closed his laptop and walked over. "Ms. Devereux, you don't need to come to the meeting. Go to the hospital first."

Burns were serious, and an infection could be very harmful.

"Mr. Hall, I'm fine. I don't want to miss the meeting," Charlotte said, biting her lip and looking particularly obedient and hopeful.

"Charlotte, listen to Mr. Hall," Calliope urged, worried about the infection.

"It's decided. Calliope will go with you to the hospital. We'll go ahead," Brady said firmly, not wanting to waste time. He and the assistant left.

Charlotte watched him walk away, a confident smile playing on her lips.

This trip to Thornwick, she was determined to seduce Brady.
