Chapter 408 Liora Looks Like Violet

"Chill, I got this," Brady said, oozing confidence. He never messed up, especially with something this easy.

He didn't see what the big deal was.

"But..." Violet still looked worried.

"Relax. I’ve got someone on it. Just sit back and watch the news." Brady gently stroked her face and added, "And don't worry about Lilian. She’s out of the Hall Group. You want her to apologize in person or over the phone?"

"I want her on her knees, begging."

Brady grinned. "You got it."

After a beat, he added, "And Oliver? I'll make sure he pays too."

With Brady handling everything, Violet felt touched and started liking him more.

But she couldn't let herself fall completely; she had to think about her kids. Even though she was tempted, she tried to stay level-headed.

During this time, Violet took care of him with all her heart. But once he was better, she planned to leave. She couldn't let her kids call another woman "Mom."

Meanwhile, over at the White Ocean Group, Aiden was chilling in his fancy office, sipping red wine and watching a video of the JK show accident with Brady and Violet. He had saved the video even though it got scrubbed from the internet.

Seeing Brady play the hero, Aiden figured that Brady had fallen for Violet. Guys like Brady hated having weak spots. If Violet became his Achilles' heel, Aiden might just take back Harbor Bay.

He downed his wine and laughed, savoring the idea of Brady's downfall.

Feeling pumped, Aiden spun his chair around just as a knock came at the door. Annoyed, he told them to come in.

His assistant walked in with an 18-year-old high school girl they had just picked out.

As soon as they entered, he shut the door and pushed the girl in front of Aiden, saying, "Mr. White, this girl’s a virgin."

Aiden leaned on his hand, his sharp eyes scanning the girl. He was momentarily taken aback; she looked a bit like Violet.

Thinking of Violet, Aiden got interested and said, "You can go now."

The assistant got the hint and left.

Once the door was closed, Aiden loosened his shirt collar and said to the shy, inexperienced girl, "What's your name?"

"My name is Liora DeVere," she replied timidly.

Her eyes showed some fear as she looked at Aiden.

"A DeVere?" Aiden repeated, almost teasingly.

Aiden thought, 'You even look like Violet.'

His interest piqued, he smiled. This time, he decided to take it slow. "Come on, let's go grab dinner."

Liora needed the money, so she had no choice but to agree.
