Chapter 732 We Give You a Warning

Brady was itching to share the good news with his grandmother, but Violet thought he was jumping the gun. "Let's wait until it's more certain. It's early, and we don't want to get everyone's hopes up just yet," she suggested, drawing on her experience as a mom.

Brady, though bursting with joy, decided to take her advice and keep the news under wraps for now.

"By the way, don't you need to handle what happened last night? You should go take care of that. I can get to JK on my own," Violet said, always mindful of his responsibilities.

"Nothing's more important than you," Brady replied, wrapping his arm around her waist as they walked out together. "Besides, we're heading back to the office anyway."

Violet nodded, "Alright."

Meanwhile, at the Hall Group building, in the PR department, Charlotte had become the center of attention after getting injured by a worker the previous night.

The men in the office were showering her with praise, while a few female colleagues were less than impressed.

They were particularly concerned about Calliope, a sweet and naive girl who seemed to be getting too close to Charlotte.

One of the women pulled Calliope aside and whispered, "You don't believe that worker hurt her on purpose, do you?"

Calliope frowned, wondering if they had misunderstood Charlotte. "She was hurt. I saw it myself."

The woman smiled knowingly. "Calliope, did you see the worker stab her?"

Calliope had to admit she hadn't.

She thought back to the chaotic scene last night.

Who could have kept an eye on Charlotte the whole time?

"No, I didn't see that. But why are you so suspicious of her? I think she's nice," Calliope said, genuinely puzzled.

The woman shook her head and sighed, "She can fool someone as naive as you. You've been in the military, but you haven't dealt much with women like her."

Calliope's straightforward nature made her an easy target for deception.

She smiled, "I know you might think she's too flashy, but she's okay."

"We don't have any concrete proof, but as someone who's been around the block, I'm just advising you to be cautious around her," the woman said, hoping to protect Calliope from being used by Charlotte.

Calliope nodded, "Thanks, I'll be careful."

With that, she went over to check on Charlotte's injury.

The other women watched from the side, their expressions filled with disdain as they saw Charlotte surrounded by men.

The PR department was never short of beautiful and cunning women, but Charlotte was the first to unite so many female colleagues in mutual dislike.

On the other side of town, Brady dropped Violet off at JK and then headed straight to his office.

As soon as he arrived, Eddy knocked and entered quickly, ready to report on the previous night's incident at Harbor Bay.

"Mr. Hall, last night's trouble was orchestrated by people from White Ocean Group. Should we prepare for a response?" Eddy handed Brady a recording device. "This is the worker's statement from last night."

Brady took the device and listened to a brief segment before turning it off abruptly.

His expression darkened, and he twirled the device in his fingers thoughtfully.

"Arrange a lunch meeting with Mr. White. I need to have a word with him," Brady said slowly.

"Right away," Eddy replied, heading out to make the arrangements.
