Chapter 789 No Strange People Should Bother You Anymore
"Why'd you suddenly want to take family photos? You hate taking pictures," Violet asked, genuinely curious.
Brady was the kind of guy who'd refuse a photo anytime.
The only picture they had together was the one they took when they got their marriage certificate.
So why the sudden interest in photos?
"It's not sudden. I just want to capture our family's beautiful memories, and you," Brady said gently, reaching out to lightly tap her nose with a smile.
His rough fingers brushed her nose softly, sending a shiver down her spine.
But more than that, it was warmth and happiness.
Violet smiled, her eyes tender, and nodded. "Okay."
She paused, tilting her head with a look full of affection, and said playfully, "No strange people have been bothering you lately."
"Are you worried about me? After your video conference today, I doubt any female employees at the Hall Group would dare come near me."
"Oh? Do you want those girls to come near you?" Violet leaned in closer, their breaths mingling, creating an intimate atmosphere.
Especially with Violet's natural sweet scent, now mixed with a hint of baby powder.
It was intoxicating.
Brady's eyes darkened, his Adam's apple bobbing as he reached out to play with a strand of her hair, twirling it around his finger before brushing it against her cheek.
His voice was husky and magnetic. "I wouldn't dare. Having you is more than enough."
"You better not even think about it," Violet huffed, her tone slightly coquettish.
"Of course not," Brady said with a soft, indulgent smile, his voice even deeper.
Unable to resist, he pulled her into a kiss.
Their lips and tongues intertwined gently, sharing sweet, intoxicating kisses.
The sensation was overwhelming, stirring their senses like a storm.
Violet felt weak all over; she could never resist his kisses, which made her legs feel like jelly.
Her hands instinctively clutched his finely tailored white shirt, gripping it so tightly she nearly wrinkled it.
Brady was equally lost in her sweetness.
He could kiss her for days and not get enough.
She was the most delicious thing in the world to him.
Their passionate kiss heated the luxurious office, filling it with waves of warmth.
Meanwhile, Charlotte, escorted downstairs by security, felt like she was in an icy hell.
This incident had completely ruined her reputation.
She was now labeled a shameless homewrecker by everyone.
The short elevator ride from the top floor to the exit of the Hall Group building felt like an eternity.
The employees she passed gave her looks of disdain.
Some female employees didn't hold back their scornful comments. "This is what happens to women who try to steal other people's men!"
"I heard she graduated from a top American university! Such a high education, but such poor character."
"Yeah, thank goodness she didn't graduate from our prestigious Crestoria University. That would have been a disgrace to our school."
"Does she think she's pretty or has a great body? How did she have the confidence to go after Mr. Hall? Mrs. Hall may be pregnant, but she's got a face like a movie star. She could outshine her any day. Charlotte has no self-awareness!"
"Exactly. So disgusting. How dare she be a mistress? She got what she deserved!"
"She just saw that Mr. Hall is rich, powerful, young, and handsome, and wanted to latch onto him. But our Mr. Hall is devoted to his wife. He wouldn't look twice at someone like her!"
The crowd laughed and mocked her openly.
Charlotte, once so proud, now felt like she was in hell.
But she had underestimated the consequences of her scheming.
Public humiliation was just a matter of pride and dignity. What Violet had in store for her next would make her understand the true meaning of unbearable suffering.
