Chapter 292 Send the Samples Abroad

As soon as Lilian left, Violet silently glanced at the manor gate. It turned out this party was prepared for Brady. She really hoped the Hall family could help him quickly find a girlfriend so she wouldn't have to be pestered by him.

Thinking of this, Violet didn't feel as "jealous or upset" as she imagined; instead, she felt relieved.

She then continued to wait for Brady in the shade. After about 5 minutes, Brady came out, looking quite relaxed. She glanced at him and quickly looked away, not giving him much attention.

When Brady got closer, he said, "Let's go. I'll take you back."

Violet pressed her lips together, wanting to say something, but suddenly felt it was pointless. Without much resistance, she obediently got into his Bentley. In the back seat, as the driver started the car, Violet caught a faint scent of alcohol on Brady. It was just a light hint, suggesting he had a drink inside.

Perhaps, he had been drinking with a girl the Hall family favored.

Violet leaned against the car door, lost in thought, completely unaware that Brady was staring at her. He leaned in and, with a voice tinged with a slight hint of alcohol, said, "What are you thinking about? So lost in thought?"

"Nothing." Violet snapped back to reality, only to find Brady's handsome face very close to hers. Her breath caught, and she instinctively pressed herself against the car door.

Seeing her reaction, Brady didn't force her like before. Instead, he leaned back, closed his eyes slightly, and rested against the soft leather seat, saying, "I'll give you three days to think about us and returning to JK."

'Three days, so soon?' Violet was stunned, frowning slightly, feeling a bit resistant to the idea. But resisting was useless; he was Brady, and he always got what he wanted.

She could only say, "Mr. Hall, I heard this party was to find you a girlfriend. If you find one, you won't need to look for me, right?"

At her words, Brady instantly opened his deep, dark eyes, finding it a bit amusing. "Where did you hear that? Did your good friend Emily tell you?"

Emily wouldn't know about such things. Violet glanced at him and said, "Mr. Hall, just tell me, is it true? If it is, I won't consider being with you."

Violet was really trying to find ways to avoid dating him. Brady's sexy thin lips curled up. "Then let me tell you, right now, besides you, there's no other woman, and there won't be."

If Brady dated Violet, he wouldn't want any other woman.

"Mr. Hall, I mean the party to find a girlfriend." Violet was indeed a bit embarrassed by his words. She didn't ask him to swear that he wouldn't look for other women; she just wanted to know if the party was intended to pick a girlfriend for him.

"No," Brady said flatly. "You don't need to think about how to make me lose interest in you. Right now, I only want you."

His words were full of ambiguity and magnetism.

With her ears turning inappropriately red and her heart skipping a beat, Violet pressed her lips together, deciding not to inquire further.

Anyway, judging by his tone, she wouldn't get away. So anything more said was just nonsense.

Since Violet didn't say much, Brady assumed she agreed to consider it. He didn't say anything more either, and they sat quietly in the car as it sped down the road.

It wasn't until they reached Ashbourne Manor that the car stopped.

Once at the manor, Violet immediately got out of the car. Brady glanced at her and suddenly said, "Don't forget about the paternity test, Ms. Devereux."

Violet turned to look at him, her expression unchanged and gave a perfunctory response before walking away.

Brady sat in the car, gazing affectionately as Violet's figure disappeared. He then called his previous lawyer, instructing him to prepare for a new paternity test. This time, he planned to send the samples abroad for testing.
