Chapter 411 Brady Doesn't Want to Lay on the Bed All the Time
The next day was bright and sunny. Violet woke up next to Brady and turned to check out his still-sleeping face.
Man, he was ridiculously handsome. If she wasn't so scared of losing her kid, she might've gone all in on dating him. But her worries kept her in check.
As she watched him sleep, Brady's eyes suddenly popped open. Violet's heart did a little flip.
Did he catch her sneaking a peek?
Violet quickly looked away, threw off the blanket, got out of bed, and said, her face a bit red, "Brady, you're awake?"
Brady had actually noticed her sneaking glances earlier. She looked shy but adorable, just the way he liked.
"Yeah, I'm awake," Brady said.
"Okay, I'll go get your stuff ready," Violet said, still flustered, avoiding his eyes.
She felt super embarrassed for staring at him.
If he knew, he'd probably think she was full of girlish fantasies.
"No need, just call the assistant. I don't want you getting too tired," Brady said gently.
Violet didn't mind at all. She wanted to take care of him to repay his life-saving grace, so she didn't feel tired. In fact, she was more than willing. "I want to take care of you."
"Really?" Brady felt a surge of happiness.
It seemed like Violet was really warming up to him.
He understood why Violet had been hesitant to stay with him before.
But he had insisted on having her around.
And now, it was totally worth it. Violet had started to care.
Brady felt a wave of happiness wash over him.
"Yes, I'll go now," Violet said softly, giving him a gentle look before heading to the bathroom.
Soon, there were sounds of things being moved around in the bathroom.
Violet got everything ready and brought it to him. "Need any help?"
Brady chuckled, "I'm not disabled, just can't move my foot for now."
But then he thought, since Violet was being so attentive, why refuse? "Thanks."
"No need to thank me," Violet said, handing him the electric toothbrush. Brady took it and gently touched her face, "You should freshen up too."
Violet nodded and went to the bathroom to tidy herself up.
They started getting ready separately. A moment later, the assistant came in. Even though Brady loved how well Violet was taking care of him, he still needed a guy's help for stuff like getting out of bed.
As the assistant helped him up, Violet came out of the bathroom and saw him standing.
She quickly said, "Brady, the doctor said you can't get out of bed right away. It'll mess up your foot."
Brady knew his own condition and said, "I know, I won't put pressure on it."
Lying in bed like a patient really hurt his image as the president of the Hall Group.
