Chapter 897 Are You Angry? Who Upset You
Violet, feeling a bit annoyed, returned to the restaurant where their gathering was taking place, holding her dress.
As soon as she walked in, Brady noticed the dress and assumed she hadn't found Julie.
He chuckled and said, "Couldn't find Julie?"
Violet shot him a glare but didn't want to embarrass him in front of Arthur and Eddy, so she kept quiet and took her seat.
Once seated, she handed the expensive dress to Calliope and said, "Calliope, this dress is for you."
"I've noticed you usually wear jeans or casual pants and rarely wear dresses. This one's new, tags still on."
She had planned to give Calliope a few dresses anyway, so this was a good opportunity to start.
As for Julie, Violet had no intention of giving her anything anymore.
Calliope was surprised to receive such a beautiful dress from Violet. She hesitated for a moment before taking it and smiling, "Thank you, Violet."
"No need to thank me. I have more. Just let me know if you like any other dresses."
Calliope nodded quickly, carefully folding the dress and setting it aside.
Meanwhile, Brady, who was feeding Henry, was puzzled.
Wasn't Violet supposed to give the dress to Julie? Why did she come back looking upset and then give the dress to Calliope instead?
Brady couldn't figure it out.
But since everyone was enjoying their meal, he decided not to spoil the mood and held off on asking.
After dinner, Brady planned to take Violet for a walk on the beach to ask why she had given him the cold shoulder earlier.
Just then, Bob and Julie arrived.
Bob hadn't seen Brady in a couple of years and was excited about this vacation.
So, he had arranged a bonfire party.
As everyone finished their meal, Bob served some fruit and said, "Mr. Hall, since it's rare for you to vacation here, I've arranged a bonfire party for you all. Julie has learned a few dances and can perform for you."
At the mention of Julie, Violet's mood soured, but she didn't show it. Instead, she pretended to be tired and said to Brady, "You guys go ahead. I'm a bit tired and want to head back."
"Are you sure you don't want to watch?" Brady asked, holding her hand.
"No, you go ahead," Violet said, gently pushing his hand away. "Let Bob get things ready. Arthur and the others don't come here often."
Brady didn't respond to her suggestion. Instead, he looked at her face, increasingly convinced that she was upset.
But why was she upset?
Brady pondered for a few seconds before saying to Bob, "Bob, go ahead and prepare the bonfire. I'll join you in a bit."
Bob nodded and took Julie and the others to the beach to get ready.
Once Bob left, Brady turned to Arthur and said, "Arthur, you go ahead. Violet and I need to talk."
"Alright," Arthur said, glancing at the two of them before leading Diana to the beach.
Eddy and Calliope followed closely behind, joining Arthur and Diana.
Hellen and the nanny took the two kids and left as well.
With everyone gone, the once lively restaurant suddenly felt quiet and awkward.
Violet, no longer pretending, stood up with a displeased expression and headed for the villa.
Seeing that she was genuinely upset, Brady quickly grabbed her hand and tried to soothe her. "Are you mad? Who upset you?"
